Day 01 Arrival Lhasa
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama.

It is sacred because of the figures of Songtsen Gampo and his two royal consorts and the figures of Sakyamuni brought from Chang' an and Nepal. One thousand five hundred years ago Lhasa was known as Otang, which means, "plain flowing with milk," because of its rich pasture, good for grazing sheep and cattle.The Rasa Monastery soon became the Otang people's central place of worship, for it enshrined the gilded image of Sakyamuni brought from Chang's an by Princess Wen Cheng. In the course of time, the original name of the place was forgotten, and it became known simply as Rasa, which was gradually changed into Lhasa.

Day 02: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and & Norbulinka.

Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.

Day 03: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Drepung Monastery

Drepung Monastery is one the three greatest Buddhist temples in Lhasa together with Sera and Ganden Monasteries. This temple was originally built in 1416 when the Buddhist Gelug Sect was in the golden time.

Visit Drepung Monastery for the whole morning, later after lunch, visit Sera monastery.

Day 04: Lhasa - Yamdroktso – Shigatse
Morning proceed for Yandroktso holy lake visit outside of Lhasa

In the fresh morning air, you're on the way to this lake. It's mostly mountain road, winding and bumpy, even thrilling somewhat. After about 3 1/2 hours' driving, climbing over the snow pass of Kambala (5030m), the dazzling Yamdroktso just lies several hundred meters below the road, and in clear weather is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise.

After visit you will proceed for Shigaste and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.

Old Town of Shigatse, a great place to wander around Nicely decorated Tibetan houses and interesting market and bazaar give you a vivid picture of local people's life.

Day 05: Shigatse- Gyantse - Lhasa
Morning drive to Lhasa via Gyantse, on arrival at Gyantse visit to Tashilhunpo

Visit the gold tops of Tashilhunpo shinning under the sun. While Tashilhunpo's magnificent outside leaves you gasp in admiration, the inside of this monastery introduces you more religious tranquility and sincerity.

Day 06: Depart Lhasa
In time transfer you to the airport, board on fight for onward journey.
