Day 01: Arrival Lhasa
On your arrival at Lhasa airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel for overnight stay.
Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama. It is sacred because of the figures of Songtsen Gampo and his two royal consorts and the figures of Sakyamuni brought from Chang' an and Nepal. One thousand five hundred years ago Lhasa was known as Otang, which means, "plain flowing with milk," because of its rich pasture, good for grazing sheep and cattle.The Rasa Monastery soon became the Otang people's central place of worship, for it enshrined the gilded image of Sakyamuni brought from Chang's an by Princess Wen Cheng. In the course of time, the original name of the place was forgotten, and it became known simply as Rasa, which was gradually changed into Lhasa.
Day 02: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and & Norbulinka.
Visting Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 03: Lhasa-Namtso Lake (250 Kms/ 04 Hrs)
In the morning our driver picks you up from your hotel and leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. On the way you will see the huge grassland of Naqu and have a chance to see the sky road- Qinghai Tibet Railway passing through it looks like a dragon.
Then the Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges appear in front of you, and also you will pass the Nagela Pass. Namtso Lake is the Heavenly Lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet (other two is Yamdrotso Lake, at Shigatse area, Lake Manasarova at Nagri) and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relax trekking around the lake side and Zhaxi Island. You can enjoy the sunset by the lake.

Day 04: Namtso lake- Yandrotso lake-Shigatse (590 Kms /07 Hrs)
Morning time see the sunrise beside the holy lake, Take pass Gangbala Mt. which is over than 5000m, then to Yamdrotso lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet (another 2 is Namtso Lake and Manasarova). Then arrive at Shigatse visit TashiLumpo Monastery which was Built in1447, spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas .
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05: Shigatse- Lhatse- Tinggri (Shegar) - Rongbu- E.B.C (450 Kms / 10 Hrs)
Morning time, after lunch driving along with Friend-ship way passes Lhatse to Tinggri. One the way you will pass the checking point with your TTB permit, travel permit and passport. Then arrive at Tinggri. Buy the entrance of Everest Base Camp. During this route,you will have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more,such as:Mt. Lhotse(8516m),Mt. Everest(8848m),Mt. Qowowuyag(8201m),Mt Mayalu(8463m). Then arrive at Rongbu Monastery.
Rongbu Monastery- Evrest Base Camp- Tinggri - Shigatse ( 450km, 8hours drving, most asphalt road, 4980m, -5-10 centigrade
After seeing the sunrise from Rongbu, then walking a few minutes to arrive the place get on the animal carriage then use half of an hour to arrive at Everest Base camp (Or you also can do trekking to Base Camp around 1.5-2hours one way. It is interesting and much more warm but hard to breath). Hiking up to the top of the photo point take pictures for the splendid- Mt. Everest.
Then drive down from E.B.C to Tingri then to Shigatse and on arrival check-in into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Shigatse- Gyangtse-Lhasa (540 Kms / 06 Hrs)
Morning time to depart from Shigatse to Gyangtse, visit Gyangtse Kumbum, far view of Zongshan ruins.
Later drive Lhasa and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Day 07: Lhasa Departure
As per your scheduled you will be transferred to airport to board on flight for onward Journey.
