Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Day 02: In Delhi
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb; built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon sightseeing of Old Delhi include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Shimla
Morning drive to Shimla and on arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
The summer capital of the British in India, this was the country's focus for the better part of every year and now, it is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. Today, its well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions make it one of India's most popular hill resorts. Places in the lower ranges of the Himalaya Mountains, it is surrounded by pine, deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Within the town are a host of splendid colonial edifices, quaint cottages and charming walks.
Rest of the day your are free to explore local animated market.
Day 04: Shimla – Kullu - Tirthan Valley
Morning you will drive for Kullu Valley and on arrival in Kullu proceed for Tirthan.
Tirthan valley is a confluence of Parvati & Tirthan Rivers at Larji offer magnificent fishing beats and small but busy town of Banjar, Streams joining the river at Jibhi & Giyagi offer spectacular landscapes dotted with small grain grinding huts. After Giyagi, the access to Shoja winds through thick forests of alpine trees, which provide an untouched Habitat to various species of flora & fauna. On arrival at Shoja, the landscape opens up into beautiful terraced fields followed by Rolling Meadows of wild flowers.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure at the tented accommodation.
Day 05: Shoja - Goshiani
Morning you will drive for Goshiani and on arrival in Start fishing in river Tirthan. The river flows through Bathad, Goshaini and merges with Parvati at Banjar. Abound in trout, Tirthan offers excellent opportunities to an avid angler.
Afternoon you will trek back to the camp and on arrival in the evening stay overnight at the tented accommodation.
Day 06: In Goshiani
Today you are free for independent activities
Optional: Trek too Sereolesar Lake
Morning trek to Sereolesar lake to view of the meadows beyond the thick curtain of the forests. Afternoon you will trek back to the camp and on arrival in the evening stay overnight at the tented accommodation.
Day 07: Goshiani – Kullu
Morning drive to Kullu and on arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Kullu - Delhi
Morning drive to Delhi and on arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Delhi Departure
In time transfer to the International Airport for flight to onward destination. |
