Day 01: Trivandrum - Cochin - Varkala Beach
Your Travel to Varkala Kerala starts on Arrival at Trivandrum/Cochin airport, Transfer to Varkala beach ( 45 km/ 1 hrs from Trivandrum & 220 K M /6 hrs from Cochin) check in at hotel rest of the day at leisure on the beach ,enjoy the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands in Kerala -Gods own country.


Varkala Beach is one of the most isolated Beaches in Kerala. Away from the noise and tensions of daily life, the beach proves to be an ideal haven for those in need of one. Swinging palm trees above and soft sands beneath you feet, promises you a rejuvenating vacation. Popular for many things, the Varkala Beach Resort is widely known for mineral springs near the beach which is believed to have some medicinal properties, thus witnessing a large number of people coming all year to drink and bathe in the mineral springs.

Day 02:  In Varkala beach
AM: 0900 Hrs breakfast visit the 800-year old Janardhana temple, dedicated to Ayappan and Hanuman, stop the hill has brought a sobriquet for the region, Southern Kasi (Benares). Afternoon enjoy the quite beautiful Papanasam beach which is a perfect place to watch the sunset or relax gazing at the horizon. The area is covered with coconut palms this beach is bordered by high cliffs. Right below this cliff is the 500 -meter stretch beaches.

Day 03: Varkala - Kumarakom
0900 Hrs after breakfast check out from Hotel and we drive down to Kumarakom (140 Kms / 3.5 Hrs). On arrival at Kumarakom visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and later check in at hotel in, Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake.On the shores of the enchanting vembanad lake , 14 km form ornithologist’s paradise.Kottayam , lies kumarakom a small-town .the most interesting area in the backwater is the ‘Kuttanad’ region called rice bowl of kerala .Kumarakom is just one little village in this region on the banks of the beautiful vembanad lake .The village of kumarakom is a cluster of little island s on the vembanad lake & is a part of the Kuttanad region.

Day 04: Alleppey- Houseboat
Morning you will be into the leisure into resort, 1230 hrs check-in into houseboat.


Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Kumarakom & Alleppey and seen in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanadu Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets. Day 05: Houseboat - Periyar (145 Kms/04 Hrs)
AM at leisure on House Boat experience the pollution free air and after a good breakfast at 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat on arrival at

Thekkady check into hotel.

 

Thekkady is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife at close range .The vegetation the flora & fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich vast & varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world .even a casual visitor to the place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of thekkady.


In the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserve in India & spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations & hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks & mountain walks.A cruise on through the water of periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is situated offers a soul - stirring pleasant experience .


Day 06: Houseboat - Munnar (180 Kms / 5 Hrs)
AM at leisure on House Boat experience the pollution free air and after a good breakfast at 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat. And we take you to Munnar Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was the summer resort of the British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a popular hill station. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once every twelve years will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which towers over 2695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.

Arrive at Munnar and check-in into hotel for overnight stay.

 Day 07: In Munnar
After breakfast we take you for a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar -which is a nature lover's paradise with endless teagardens lakes on western ghat hills; basically it is a tea town. covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai - offering a spectacular view, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary, home of Nilgiry Thar( very rare mountain goat), considering the ecological faunal, floral, geo- morphological and zoological significant & Tea Plantation.
Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 08: Munnar – Cochin
Morning proceed for Cochin by surface and on arrival check-in into hotel.


One of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian Sea coast, Kochi, earlier known as Cochin, has been a port of all for foreign traders from early times. The city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub .Chinese Fishing Nets at the entrance of Cochin harbor are a fascinating sight.  Bolgatty Island houses Bolgatty Island built by the Dutch in 1774, which is former residence of the British Resident of Kochi. The Portuguese led by Vasco Da Gama arrived in 1502 and later the Dutch and the British.  And descendants of the Jews who arrived in ancient days still live here.


Morning take Half day tour Cochin.

 

Visiting Fort Cochin, proceed on a sight seeing tour to attractions such as the Dutch Palace,


Chinese Fishing Nets named after the country of their origin. Jewish Synagogue,  in Mattancherry was built in 1568 and rebuilt in 1664 with Chinese willow-patterned tiles and gold crowns and has ancient scrolls,  Mattancherry Palace,  See St. Francis Church, the first European Church in India, where Vasco Da Gama was buried until his remains were taken back to Portugal, and Fort Cochin. Visit the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1510 and later taken over by the Dutch.


A boat cruise in the backwaters takes you in the midst of a lush green setting of shady lagoons, wooded islands and canals.

Relax in the afternoon and spend time at leisure.

Day 09: Cochin Departure
Late evening as per scheduled time departure transfer to international airport to board your flight for onward journey.
