Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
On your arrival at Mumbai airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Mumbai is an industrial metropolis as well as the textile and film capital of the country. It was once a cluster of 7 islands. Bombay was ceded to the Portugese by the local ruler in the 16th Century. Later, it was acquired by the English when it was given as a dowry to King Charles II when he married a Portuguese princess. Today cosmopolitan Bombay is a commercial nerve centre apart from being one of India’s busiest ports.
Day 02: In Mumbai
Morning we take a half-day excursion to the Elephanta Caves.
Elephanta is a 3 Kms long elongated island, consisting of two hills separated by a valley. See Shiva in his three-headed aspect: as Creator (facing right), Protector (the crowned face at the center), and Destroyer (facing left, with serpents for hair). Also visit to Shiva bringing the Ganges River down to Earth.
Afternoon take the Half day tour Mumbai.
Visit the Juhu Beach, Gateway of India, Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Drive past the “Towers of Silence”, Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens situated on the slope of Malabar Hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach. Drive through local animated Crawford market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Mumbai – Aurangabad
In time transfer to the airport to board the early morning flights to Aurangabad and on arrival transfer to hotel.
The city Aurangabad was named after Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, meaning "Built by the Throne". In 1681, the city became the residence of Aurangzeb, who used the city as a base for his campaigns to conquer the last remaining Deccan sultanates until his death in 1707 AD. The city is most famous for its historical monuments and Rock cut caves, dating from 200 BC to 650 AD. consist mainly of Buddhist caves Temples and Monasteries. As well as Aurangabad is a major silk and cotton textile production center. ‘

Afternoon we take the sightseeing tour of the historic city of Aurangabad.
Your Aurangabad tour will include visits to Paithan Darwaza, Jalna Darwaza, Mecca Darwaza, Delhi Darwaza, Shivaji Museum and also visit Bibi-ka –Maqbara; which was built around 1657-1661, by the last of the six great Mughal Emperors Aurangazeb, for his wife Rabia Durrani.

Day 04: Excursion to Ajanta (106 Kms, one way)
Today we take the full day for excursion of Ajanta Caves.
Ajanta Caves dated from the 2nd century BC. Discovered in 1819 by a group of British army officers, these startling achievements took around 600 years to create. Carved with little more than a hammer and chisel, Ajanta, once the retreat of Buddhist monastic orders features several 'chaityas' (chapels) and 'viharas' (monasteries). The exquisite wall and ceiling paintings, panels and sculptures of Buddha's life are famous throughout the world as the earliest and finest examples of Buddhist pictorial art.

Day 05: Aurangabad – Hyderabad
Morning we take the half day excursion to Ellora Caves just 30 km away from Aurangabad city.
The Ellora caves encompass 34 rock cut shrines representing Jain, Hindu and Buddhist. The most remarkable of them is the Kailash temple meant to be a replica of Lord Shiva’s celestial abode, Kailsah.
Later as per scheduled departure transfer to the railway station to board the night train to Hyderabad.
Spend the night on the train.
Day 06: In Hyderabad
In the morning arrive at Hyderabad and transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon take a tour of the city.
Visit Charminar, the Mecca Mosque and the Salar Jung Museum and High Court Buildings.
Spend the night at your hotel.
Day 07: Hyderabad –Golconda
You can spend the day at your leisure or take the optional tour to Golconda. Golconda Fort is located on the Western outskirts of Hyderabad. Visit the market place, the extensive Roof Garden and the tombs of Qutab Shahi Kings.
Return to Hyderabad for overnight stay.
Day 08: Hyderabad - Chennai
In time transfer to the airport to board the early morning flights to Chennai and on arrival transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon take a city tour.
Visit the Museum to visit the Art and Bronze Gallery. Drive through the Flower and Fruit market, High Court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral and Snake Park.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 09: Excursion to Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Take a day tour of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram was the ancient capital of the Pallava kings. During its zenith it was popular as the city of 1000 temples and many of them are in use to this day. The city is also famous for its silks. Mahabalipuram is famous for the five temples that are carved out of monoliths.
Return to Chennai for the overnight stay.
Day 10: Chennai (Madras) – Mysore
In the morning you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Mysore and on arrival at Mysore transfer to hotel.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 11: Excursion to Belur & Halebid
In the morning you will be leave for a trip to the temples of Belur and Halebid.
These temples are the best example of Hoysala architecture and are over 900 years old. On the way back to Mysore visit Shravanabelagola to see the statue of Lord Gomateshwara craved out of a single rock, and this monolith dominates the entire skyline of Shravanabelagola.

Day 12: In Mysore
In the morning go on a sightseeing tour of Mysore.
Visit the Maharaja's Palace, the Art Gallery, drive to the Chamundi hills and visit the Chamundeshwari Temple. On the way back visit the Nandi Bull. Afternoon is at your leisure.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 13: Mysore -Bangalore- Mumbai
In the morning you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Mumbai and on arrival transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day you will be free for independent activities. Stay overnight at your hotel.
