Day 01: Arrive Kochi - Puthenkayal (55 Kms / 01 Hrs)
On your arrival at Cochin international airport met and proceed by car and boat to the small island of Puthenkayal, near Kumarakom.
Arrive and check-in into the Philipkutty’s farm
The family resides in their own house nearby and they will be your hosts whilst you stay in one of three delightful traditional Malayali style cottages on the waterfront.

Day 02: In Puthenkayal
Full day you will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings.
Day 03: Puthenkayal - Alleppey (30 Kms / ½ Hrs)
Morning you will take a short drive around Vembanad Lake to the market town of Alleppey to join your private houseboat for the next two nights.
This is a unique opportunity to leisurely explore and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the Kerala backwaters.

Day 04: In Backwaters
On the backwaters life passes by as it has for centuries. Fishermen tend their nets, women weave rugs from coir, and farmers cultivate rice and a delicious variety of fruits.

Day 05: Alleppey -Tiruvalla (36 Kms / 01 Hrs)
This morning leave your houseboat at Alleppey and proceed just a short distance by car to Tiruvalla where you will stay at Chalakuzhy, an ancestral home that is almost 200 years old.
The Paulose families reside in their house and they will be your hosts whilst you stay in a delightful wooden and tiled cottage in the gardens.

Day 06: In Tiruvalla
At leisure or visit the beautiful 8th century riverside temple at Aranmula. The temple is home to three elephants that can often be seen frolicking in the river. This town is also famous for its unique metal mirror work known as Aranmula Kannadi. In Tiruvalla visit the Sree Vallabha Temple where traditional Kathakali dances are performed as an offering to the deity on most evenings.
Day 07: Tiruvalla - Mankotta Island (30 Kms / ½ Hrs)
A short drive takes you to the secluded river island of Mankotta a rustic farmhouse in the backwaters and the ancestral home. The house is simple and the accommodation plain, but its situation on a riverbank makes Mankotta one of the most idyllic backwater houses in Kerala.
Day 08: In Mankotta Island
At leisure to enjoy the hospitality of a traditional Kerala home stay.
Day 09: Mankotta Island- Kochi
Return to Kochi by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
One of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian Sea coast, Kochi, earlier known as Cochin, has been a port of all for foreign traders from early times. The city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub .Chinese Fishing Nets at the entrance of Cochin harbor are a fascinating sight. Bolgatty Island houses Bolgatty Island built by the Dutch in 1774, which is former residence of the British Resident of Kochi. The Portuguese led by Vasco Da Gama arrived in 1502 and later the Dutch and the British. And descendants of the Jews who arrived in ancient days still live here.
Day 10: In Kochi
Morning take Half day tour Kochi
Visiting Fort Cochin, proceed on a sight seeing tour to attractions such as the Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets named after the country of their origin. Jewish Synagogue, in Mattancherry was built in 1568 and rebuilt in 1664 with Chinese willow-patterned tiles and gold crowns and has ancient scrolls, Mattancherry Palace, See St. Francis Church, the first European Church in India, where Vasco Da Gama was buried until his remains were taken back to Portugal, and Fort Cochin. Visit the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1510 and later taken over by the Dutch.
A boat cruise in the backwaters takes you in the midst of a lush green setting of shady lagoons, wooded islands and canals. Relax in the afternoon and spend time at leisure.

Day 11: Cochin Departure
In time proceed for the airport to connect your flight onward journey.
