Day 01: Arrive Cochin – Munnar (130 Kms / 03 Hrs)
On arrival in Kochin International Airport you will be proceed to Munnar, on the way visiting Cheeyappara Waterfalls, viewpoint Morning drive to Munnar and en-route enjoy the Cardamom hills and green tea plantations.
Munnar, Tea estates provides a panoramic view of the valley and tea plantation. The enchanting high range of lakes and streams, the low-flying clouds and the mist-filled valleys cast a magical spell, which lingers long in the memory. The hill area is breathtakingly beautiful and is easily comparable to the best mountain ranges found anywhere in the world.
Evening you will spend time for Elephant riding. On arrival check in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: In Munnar
Morning take visit to Eravikulam National Park,
Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, and The Mattupetty Lake and dam, just a short distance from the farm, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market.
Later visit the Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai - offering a spectacular view, and Tea Plantation.
There after return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Munnar - Thekkady (120 Kms/ 04 Hrs)
Morning you will drive to Thekkady and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Thekkady is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife at close range .The vegetation the flora & fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich vast & varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world .even a casual visitor to the place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of thekkady.In the periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserve in India & spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations & hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks & mountain walks.A cruise on through the water of periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is situated offers a soul - stirring pleasant experience .
After refreshing go for a spice plantation Tour to see crops of cardamom cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estate (Optional) & later for boating in the Periyar lake- its centre piece of Periyar Wildlife sanctuary also Periyar Tiger reserve, man made lake of the height of 2000 ft, enjoying view the wildlife at the Periyar tiger reserve (Optional).
Later return to hotel for overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04: Thekkady – Kumarakom (145 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Morning you will drive down to Kumarakom on arrival check-in into the hotel.
The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala, which is home to local varieties of waterfowl, cuckoo, and water ducks, as well as migrating Siberian storks. Furthermore Vembanad Lake is home to several types of marine life exclusively the 'Karimeen' (Pearl Spotted Fish), the 'Chemeen' (Prawns).
Afternoon visit the bird Sanctuary
The bird sanctuary in Kumarakom is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds & ornithologist’s paradise.
After refreshing visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (famous for migratory and local birds), Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake.
Day 05: Kumarakom - Houseboat
Morning spend at leisure at resort, 1230 Hrs check- in into the houseboat.
Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Kumarakom & Alleppey and seen in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanadu Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets
Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and overnight stay on House Boat.
Day 06: Houseboat - Kovalam (190Kms/ 4 & ½ Hrs)
Morning at leisure on House Boat experience the pollution free air and after a good breakfast at 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat and we transfer you to Kovalam (190 Kms / 4.5 Hrs) this journey is through costal areas with coconut trees and view of lagoons and palm fringed Arabian sea.
On arrival at Kovalam check-in into Hotel Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm water ideal for sea bathing. The most popular and largest beach is Lighthouse Beach, aptly named for its 30-meter lighthouse, which features a stunning site - the Vizhinjam mosque. For a less crowded beach, visit Samudra Beach, with ample coconut trees and great views of the local fishermen at work.Rest of the day at leisure on the beach at Kovalam. Enjoy the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands in Kerala -Gods own country.

Day 07: Kovalam - Thiruvanathapuram
After breakfast we take you for a full day sightseeing trip of Trivandrum (capital of Kerala) at 0900 Hrs.
Thiruvananthapuram means 'The town of Lord Anantha' is believed to be originated due the presence of the temple of Lord Anantha in the heart of the city. famous for its enchanting tourist spots including internationally renowned beaches like Kovalam, historic monuments with Gothic architecture, lakes and backwaters, unexplored mountain ranges etc.
On arrival directly proceed for city tour of Thiruvanathapuram.
Visit the famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Rebuilt in 1733, it ia an excellent example of South Indian architecture. Visit the Zoological Park (except Mondays), Napier Museum with its bronze collection, Sri Chitra Art Gallery with paintings from various schools; from countries like China, Japan, Java and Bali.
Later check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 08: Trivandrum Departure
In time transfer to international airport to board flight for onward Journey. |
