Rajasthan Heritage Tour

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend.  It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone.  From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.

 

Day 02: Delhi
Full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi

 

Morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb - a red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, Also drive past Parliament House and Presidency House.


Afternoon visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest and best-known mosques, and drive past Red Fort later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 03: Delhi - Neemrana (140 Kms/03 Hrs)   

In the morning drive to Neemrana and n arrival check–in into the hotel.

Rest of the day you will be at leisure to view town’s truly majestic atmosphere to relax and to enjoy panoramic views of the landscape.
Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Neemrana - Jaipur (130 Kms /03 Hrs)

In the Morning drive to Jaipur and on arrival check-in at hotel.

Rest of the day you will be at leisure,

Jaipur has been like that since 1727 when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II had it built. And In 1876 A.D. Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria and earned the epitaph ‘PINK CITY', it is also a home of excellent handicrafts especially known for the exquisite gold jewellery enameled or inlaid with precious stones, blue pottery, carving on wood, stone & ivory, block print, tie & dye textiles, hand made paper, miniature painting etc.

 

Day 05: In Jaipur
Morning we take an excursion to the Amber Fort and afternoon visit the city.

 

Visiting impressive Amber Fort situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. A royal elephant ride to ascend the fort (depending upon the availability else by jeep). Also visit Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors.

 

Next visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory, & Ram Niwas Gardens. Later stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography. Hawa Mahal was built in 1799, its original intention was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen.

Day 06: Jaipur – Samode (60 Kms/1.5 hrs)
In the morning you will drive to Samode and arrival check-in into one of the best palace in Samode, Samode Palace. Samode offers a wonderful elegant and luxurious atmosphere.

 

Rest of the time you will be at leisure to explore the location.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 07: Samode - Karauli (120 Kms/03 Hrs)
In the morning drive to Karauli and on arrival check-in at hotel.

 

Later in the day you will have an opportunity to explore the colorful bazaars and its narrow lanes visit, City Palace, a treasure trove of architecture, stone carvings, gorgeous jalli work and classic paintings. Visit local bazaars and village of Karauli.

Day 08: Karoli -Ranthambore
In the morning drive to Ranthambore national park and on arrival check-in at Hotel. Ranthambore National Park is the former hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur.

 

Day you will be at leisure for independent activities.

Day 09: In Ranthambore
After tea / coffee, early morning proceed for first jeep safari to the park with packed breakfast, later visit The Ganesh Temple and The Ranthambore Fort is an impressive historic monument spreads over an area of 7 Km and offers spectacular views of the National Park Ranthambore.

 

Afternoon you will be free to take rest at hotel.

 

Evening proceed for Third Jeep safari to Ranthambhore National Park to view the wild life & bird species.

Day 10: Ranthambore – Kota
In the Morning drive to Kota and on arrival check-in at hotel.

Later sightseeing tour of Kota,

Visit Chambal Garden, Maharao Madho Singh Museum, situated in the old palace; The Government Museum, housed in the Brijvilas Palace near Kishore Sagar,

 

Stay overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 11: Kota – Deogarh
In the Morning continue drive to Deogarh and on arrival check-in into hotel.


Deogarh Mahal is an impressive palace built in the 17th century. Surrounded by the Aravallis and speckled with lakes. The main attractions of the Deogarh Palace are its graying battlements, domes, turrets, jharokhas, massive gateways and a rich collection of miniature paintingsTemples,

 

 Afternoon proceed for an excursion to the 17th century Deogarh Mahal. With a colossal height of 2100 ft. above sea level it is really an awe-inspiring structure.

 

Later in the evening proceed for Jeep drive to Rural Rumble.

Day 12: Deogarh – Jodhpur

After breakfast in the Morning drive to Jodhpur and on arrival check-in into hotel.


In the Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jodhpur including majestic Mehrangarh Fort situated on a high hill, one of the most impressive and formidable structures, Jaswant Thada - a memorial built in pure white marble for the exclusive use of the royal family, as a crematorium. Also visit Umaid Bhawan in rose colored sandstone; Mandore Gardens.

Day 13: Jodhpur – Ghanerao
In the Morning drive to Ghanerao and on arrival check-in into hotel.


Later visit the Ghanerao, which is a small village surrounding with temples, step-wells and marble archways. Meera hai also spend her childhood in Ghanerao.

Day 14: Ghanerao – Kumbalgarh

After breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh and on arrival check-in into hotel.


Kumbhalgarh The huge stone bastion stands atop a hill and allows access through spiked gates. The fort wall covers miles over the hillside and a walk on it.

Day 15: Kumbalgarh – Udaipur

In the morning you will drive to Udaipur and on arrival check-in into hotel.


Udaipur is also known as Venice of the East. The main City is situated around Lakes. Lake Pichola at Udaipur is one of the biggest human made lakes in the world. Udaipur is also described as the “City of Sunrise”. 

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Udaipur

Udaipur visit the City Palace; an imposing edifice of granite and marble Also visit  Museum, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari, a Garden design in the early 18th century purely as a pleasure garden design, Jagdish Teple: Built by Maharana  Jagat Singh I in 1651 the temple enshrineses a black stone image of Lard Vishnu. There is a Brass image of Garuda the Lord Bird carrier.


Enjoy Auto rickshaw ride in the bazaar of Udaipur.


Enjoy a two-hour boat-ride on Lake Pichola, which is surrounded by hills on three sides.  From little islands in the Lake rise at the water’s edge palaces of pure white marble.

Day 16: Udaipur – Mumbai Depart
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to International airport to board flight for onward destination.
