Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend.  It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone.  From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.

 

Day 02: Delhi
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.

 

Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal.  Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.


Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (205 Kms/4 & ½Hrs)
Morning drive to Agra, visit Sikandra en-route.

 

Akbar's tomb at Sikandra has a large arched entrance and green lawns, the entrance is decorated with marble inlay work around the arch, and the inner surface of the dome of the tomb is decorated with images of flowers, geometric designs and Islamic calligraphy.

 

Arrive Agra and on arrival check-in into hotel.

Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. A pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, the city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.

 

Afternoon take Half day tour of Agra.


Visiting Taj Mahal, the monument of love built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in sweet memory of his wife, after she died in 1631. Later visit the Agra Fort; this was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. And Itimid-ud-Daulah Tomb, which is also known as Mini Taj because of its resemblance; however it was built before the Taj Mahal.

Day 03: Agra –Bharatpur
Morning you will drive to Bharatpur and on arrival check-in into hotel.

 

Later visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary on rickshaws.


The most Spectacular water-bird Sanctuary features nesting indigenous water- birds and migratory birds. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar.

Day 05: Bharatpur - Karauli
Morning you will drive to Karauli and on arrival check-in at hotel.

 

Karauli is the fortified city of Karauli is surrounded by Red sandstone walls with bastions for security. In the present day, these fortifications are in wrecks, yet it boast of the six gates and eleven posterns. Karauli also possesses a 600 years old Fort. Karauli is well-known for its Madan Mohanji Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Initially, the town was known as Kalyanpuri, which was named after the local deity Kalyanji.

Afternoon proceed for city sightseeing tour of Karauli.

 A quaint township founded in 1348. You can experience a serene rural environment here apart from the City Palace and Kaila Devi Temple.

Day 06: Karauli - Pachewar

Morning you will drive to Pachewar and on arrival check-in into hotel.

 

Later explore Pachewar.

 A small village located at a drive of just 25 minutes from Dudu, south to the city of Jaipur on the Jaipur Ajmer highway, Pachewar is famous for cenotaphs, blue pottery kiln, metal toy makers and interesting surroundings. It is a lively place that was once ruled by Khangarot Rajputs, a sub clan of Kachhawaha Rajputs.

Day 07: Pachewar – Deogarh
Morning you will drive to Deogarh and on arrival check-in into hotel.

 

Deogarh Mahal is an impressive palace built in the 17th century. Surrounded by the Aravallis and speckled with lakes. The main attractions of the Deogarh Palace are its graying battlements, domes, turrets, jharokhas, massive gateways and a rich collection of miniature paintingsTemples,

 

On arrival check-in into hotel.  Afternoon proceed for an excursion to the 17th century Deogarh Mahal. With a colossal height of 2100 ft. above sea level it is really an awe-inspiring structure.

Evening Jeep drive to Rural Rumble.

 Day 08: Deogarh - Narlai
Morning you will drive to Narlai and on arrival check-in into hotel.

Afternoon you will visit the Narlai.

Legend says that it was here that the sage Narad Muni meditated long before it was inhabited. Later it became a hunting preserve for the Sisodias.

Day 09: Narlai - Luni
Morning you will drive to Luni and on arrival check-in into hotel.

 

Luni is a charming village located near to Jodhpur that reflects the royal past of Rajasthan. The artisans inhabiting the village are still pursuing their ancestral profession of fashioning metal, clay or wood into intricate forms.

 

Late afternoon proceed for an excursion to Bishnoi village by jeep.

 

Visit the small village is home to many artisans who work with metal, clay or wood, keeping alive the skills passed down over the centuries by their ancestor. Located on the bed of river Luni, the village is a mirror image of the desert nearby - always peaceful, yet so vast and mysterious. The noise and bustle of the village settles down by evening and all is quite as peace descends on the desert.

Day 10: Luni - Jaisalmer
Morning you will drive to Jaisalmer and on arrival check-in into hotel.

 Evening:  witness Sunset from the Cenotaphes with camel safari to Sam Sand Dunes.
Later return to hotel for overnight stay.

This desert fortress is one of Rajasthan's most exotic and unusual towns. Jaisalmer, an important ancient trading centre because of its strategic location on the camel trade routes, is often described as the 'golden city'. The havelis, built by merchants of the 19th century, are exquisitely carved from Golden-yellow sandstone and are still in a beautiful condition.


Day 11: In Jaisalmer
Morning you will proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer.

 

Later visit Jaisalmer Fort known as Sonar Quila ‘ the Golden fort’  is one of the largest of desert forts of the world. Manak Chowk, Salim Singh Ki Haveli (Mansion), Patwon-Ki Haveli-one of the largest and most elaborate Havelis in Jaisalmer, and Gadi sagar Lake.

Day 12: Jaisalmer - Bikaner

Morning you will drive to Bikaner and on arrival check-in into hotel.

The city was founded by Rao Bika in 1486 and from its small origins it has developed into the fourth largest city in Rajasthan. The city is also known for its intricately carved Jharokas, desert city Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple.

 

Later proceed for an excursion of Junagarh Fort.
The Fort made of red sandstone, exhibits a wonderful mingling of Eastern and Western style. Built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593, has a 986-metre-long wall with 37 bastions. The fort and its palaces are profusely decorated with magnificent stone carvings.

 Day 13: Bikaner - Kuchaman
Morning you will drive to Kuchaman and on arrival check-in into hotel.

Located in Nagaur District, Kuchaman Fort has had a strategic role to play in Rajasthan's history which unravels as one moves around its 17th century battlements. Its picturesque village is idyllic for those who would like to discover the charm of walking through it.

Day 14: Kuchaman - Pachar
Morning you will drive to Pachar and on arrival check-in into hotel.

Later explore the stunningly frescoed Havelis of Shekhawati en route. Arrive Pachar & check -in into hotel.

Later Visit Pachar is a small village with lake on one side and sand dunes on the other.

Day 15: Pachar - Jaipur
Morning you will drive to Jaipur and on arrival check-in into hotel.

Jaipur has been like that since 1727 when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II had it built. And In 1876 A.D. Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria and earned the epitaph ‘PINK CITY', it is also a home of excellent handicrafts especially known for the exquisite gold jewellery enameled or inlaid with precious stones, blue pottery, carving on wood, stone & ivory, block print, tie & dye textiles, hand made paper, miniature painting etc.

Day 16: In Jaipur
Morning you will proceed for excursion to Amber Fort.

 

Morning we take an excursion to the Amber Fort and afternoon visit the city.

 

Visiting impressive Amber Fort situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. A royal elephant ride to ascend the fort (depending upon the availability else by jeep). Also visit Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors.

 

Next visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory, & Ram Niwas Gardens. Later stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography. Hawa Mahal was built in 1799, its original intention was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen.

Day 17: Jaipur - Delhi & Departure
Morning you will drive to Delhi on arrival straight drive to the airport to board the flight for onward journey.
