Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On Early morning arrival at International airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Jodhpur
Morning you will transfer to airport to flight for Jodhpur and on arrival transfer to hotel.
The home of the Rathore rulers Jodhpur Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha- chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama – the epic hero of the Ramayana.
Afternoon visit to Jodhpur city
Visiting Mehrangarh Fort, The Fort is followed by the Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh II.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 03: Jodhpur – Dugaur (125 Kms /04 Hrs)
After lunch drive 125 Kms to Dugaur. This is base camp for your camle safri tour
Stay overnight in camp.
Day 04: Dugaur - Rain
Start camel safari in your fully equipped caravan to rain. A small village populated by mostly Vishnu people.
Stay overnight in camp.
Day 05: Rain – Kod
After breakfast leave for Kod. Enroute visit villages and pass through farmlands. Stay overnight in camp.
Day 06: Kod – Mohangarh
Camel safari through village. Time permitting, visit local schools and explore the village life. Stay overnight in camp.
Day 07: Mohangarh – Pushkar
This is your last day of your safari and on and arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Pushkar lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. It has five principal temples, many smaller temples and 52 ghats where pilgrims descend to the lake to bathe in the sacred waters. One of the primary temples is the 14th century temple dedicated to Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Very few temples to Lord Brahma exist anywhere in the world. Pushkar is also famous for its annual Pushkar Camel Fair.
Day 08: Pushkar - Jaipur
Morning city sightseeing of Pushkar
Visit Brahma Temple - This is the only temple in the world where Lord Brahma is worshiped and the main attraction of Pushkar. The temple has a special position in Hindu pantheons. There is life-size four-armed idol of Lord Brahma - the creator in the vestibule. Pushkar Lake - Pushkar Lake is another important attraction of Pushkar and it has immense significance for the followers of Hinduism. Savitri Temple -The temple is dedicated to Savitri, the wife of Lord Brahma and located on the top of the Ratnagiri Hill.
Day 09: Pushkar - Delhi
In time transfer to Ajmer for connecting train to Delhi, and on arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Depart-Delhi
In time you will transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward journey. |
