Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Day 02: In Delhi
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing city tour of Delhi
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, Visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Rishikesh - Shivpuri
Morning proceed for Shivpuri and on arrival check-in into check into the camps at Shivpuri located on a large sandy beach on the banks of river Ganges.
Afternoon a briefing at the camp of the activities and the trip to follow. Evening campfire would be organized.
Stay overnight at your camp.
Day 04: Shivpuri - Rudraprayag
Early morning proceed to Rudraprayag, enroute stop at Devprayag to see the confluence of the Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi which meet to form the Ganga.
Arrive Rudraprayag and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Rudraprayag - Maletha Beach
Morning you will start you rafting tour form Rudraprayag
Expedition begins with a big Grade IV rapid, "The Holy Hole", at the confluence with the Mandakini. Rapids keep coming in quick succession. Soak in the sun, river and scenery, staying alert to help negotiate rapids. full day on the river, covering about 36 river kms till Maletha beach.

Day 06: Maletha Beach - Beas Ghat
Morning raft down to Devprayag the confluence of the Alaknanda & Bhagirathi rivers. Camp at Beas Ghat, a famous fishing spot for the Mahseer also called the Ganga Gold.
Stay overnight at camp.
Day 07: Beas Ghat - Kaudiyala
Full day enjoy the rafting in the river Ganges.
A day for swimming, body surfing, relaxing and spotting wildlife. Make 30 kms to reach camp below Kaudiyala, after running a couple of Grade IV rapids, "Daniel's Dip" and "The Wall".
Stay overnight at camp.
Day 08: Kaudiyala - Shivpuri
Day begins with negotiating a few small rapids, followed by "Three Blind Mice", "Crossfire", and the "Body Surfing rapid". Cover 15 kms to reach Shivpuri and drive back to Silver Sands for the last night on river.
Day 09: Shivpuri - Rishikesh - Delhi
Drive down to Shivpuri after breakfast to begin the final day's run with big rapids, the "Roller Coaster" and "Golf Course" to make it an exciting end to a grand adventure.
Later drive to Delhi and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Delhi Departure
In time you will be transferred to international airport to connect flight for your onward journey. |
