Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your early morning arrival at International airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Afternoon refreshment proceed for full day the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon sightseeing of Old Delhi include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 02: Delhi- Chandigarh
Morning proceed to Chandigarh and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Chandigarh as this is one of the most modern cities in the country was designed by Le Corbusier - The famous French architect. A most important site in the city is the Rock Garden, the place that has been captured by millions of cameras. Rose Garden is another important landmark and a part of Leisure Valley, a garland of gardens that ornaments the city. Government Museum and Art Gallery displays some important stone sculptures of ancient India.
Afternoon you will take visit to the city, Secretariat, High Court, State Library, Assembly Chambers, Rose Gardens, University, Botanical Garden and the beautiful lake.

Day 03: Chandigarh - Dharamshala
Morning proceed to Dharamshala and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Over looking the plains and is surrounded by dense pine trees and Deodar forests. A busy bazaar town, Dharamsala has established itself as the traveler’s base camp, which come to explore the nearby mountains. The Kotwali Bazaar provides the entire colour and characteristic of a small town, which is mixed with the simple life style. The colourful temple and Gompas, which reflect the culture of Tibet, adds attraction for the visitor. The Kangra museum gives an overview of the rich past of the region and on the other hand there are institutes that have been established to preserve the Tibetan art, cultures and traditions.

Day 04: In Dharamsala
Full day take city tour
Morning visit Norbulingka, an institute for the preservation for tradition Tibetan arts and crafts. Also visit the Kangra Art museum which exhibits painting from the Kangra school of Miniature Paintings, sculptures, tribal and ornaments and photograph of the local monuments. Afternoon visit the Tibetan institute of the performing Arts founded in 1959 by holiness of the Dalai Lama to preserve traditional Tibetan art froms in music, dance and theatre.
Later visit Tsuglkhang or HH Dalai Lama’s temple, Bhasu nag waterfall. Walk around market in the evening.

Day 05: Dharamshala - Triund
Morning drive to the beginning of the trek just a little beyond Mc Leod Ganj (1860 Mts) takes less than an hour. Arrive and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Triund - Lahesh Cave (3600 M)
A distance of 9 km (5 hrs) will be covered today. The trek is through Deodar forests. Stay overnight in camp.
Day 07: Lahesh - Indrahar Pass - Chatru Parao (4350 M)
You can expect to see great views from the Pass of the Pir Panjal Range and the Mani Mahesh Kailash . Stay overnight in camp.
Day 08: Chatru Parao - Kuarsi (2730 M)
The trek will cross a few snow bridges and enter the Kuarsi Valley. Stay overnight in camp.
Day 09: Kuarsi - Machetar - Chamba
Today's trek continues into the Valley and from the top mountain views of the whole region can be seen. The Dhaula Dhar to the south, Pir Panjal to the North and Mani Mahesh to the east. Descend along the Barley fields to hit the road head to Machetar. Overnight at rest house in Chamba. tents.
Day 10: Chamba - Delhi
Early orning proceed to Delhi and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11: Depart Delhi
In time transfer to the International airport for flight to onward destination. |
