Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Day 02: In Delhi
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, Visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Rishikesh
Morning proceed for Rishikesh and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Rishikesh Known as the ‘Yoga capital of the world is the one of the holy city of India situated on bank of the river Ganges. There are a number of ashrams in and around Rishikesh, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Ashram is famous the world over for which the credit goes to the rock band Beatles. Several ashrams offer oga courses and many pilgrims from in and around the country come here to learn yoga.
Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Rishikesh,
Visit Trivani Ghat, a bathing Ghat, where there streams of Ganga, Yamuna, Sarswati are said to flow together, and visit Bharat temple, and later you are free to visit the Laxman Jhula Laxman Jhoola is beautiful sight, Raghunathji temple and thirteen storey temple is the main attractions around jhoola.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 04: Rishikesh –Pauri
Morning proceed for Pauri and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay
Day 05: Pauri - Thalisain
Drive to Thalisain with pack lunch.
The trek starts from Thalisain via Pauri, an enchanting hill station presenting a panoramic view of the Garhwal Himalaya snowy peaks, and on a clear day the sunset is worth seeing from Kondolia, 5 kms. from Thalisain the trek trails through a very rich forest of deodar, silver, fir, pine and oak and wildlife.
Stay overnight in camp.
Day 06: Thalisain – Piersain (13 Kms / 07Hrs)
Morning start the trek to Piersain with pack lunch on arrival stay overnight in camp.
Day 07: Piersain - Binsar
Morning start the trek to Binsar with pack lunch on arrival stay overnight in camp.
Day 06: Binsar - Gairsain
20 kms. trek to Gairsain with pack lunch and on arrival stay overnight in camp.
Day 08: Gairsain - Rishikesh
Morning proceed for Rishikesh and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Day 09: Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning proceed for Delhi en route sightseeing tour of the city tour of Hridwar
Visit Har Ki Pauri, the Ghat, where religious prayer is performed in the evening. The intensity of prayer is such that you would forget that you are on earth. The entire aura turns more pristine. This is the time when hoardes of pilgrims surrounds the Ganges to take glimpse of such a huge event which takes place every evening.
Later continue drive to Delhi by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Depart Delhi
In time you will transfer to international airport to connect flight for your onward journey. |
