Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On early morning arrival at international airport you will be transferred to hotel.
Kathmandu the capital and cultural hub of Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Day 02: In Kathmandu
Morning proceed to sightseeing of the city
Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess), its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved. Later visit Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized.
Rest of the day you will be free to enjoy exploring local animated market.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lhasa
In the morning as per your scheduled you will be transferred to airport to connect flight for Lhasa. After reaching Lhasa airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Rest of the day you will be free for independent activities.
Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 Mts. is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama. It is sacred because of the figures of Songtsen Gampo and his two royal consorts and the figures of Sakyamuni brought from Chang' and Nepal. One thousand five hundred years ago Lhasa was known as Otang, which means, "plain flowing with milk," because of its rich pasture, good for grazing sheep and cattle. The Rasa Monastery soon became the Otang people's central place of worship, for it enshrined the gilded image of Sakyamuni brought from Chang's an by Princess Wen Cheng. In the course of time, the original name of the place was forgotten, and it became known simply as Rasa, which was gradually
changed into Lhasa.

Day 04: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Heritage Sites of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple.
Visit Potala, which was constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet and later reconstructed and served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas. and Jokhang monastery, the center of the Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where innumerable pilgrims come for worship everyday. The temple, built in 647, is the earliest wood-and-masonry structure still existing in Tibet.
Later explore the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street.

Day 05: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, both of them are Gelupa Monasteries and also you will visit the famous Dalai Lama summer palace - Norbulingka.
Drepung Monastery is one the three greatest Buddhist temples in Lhasa together with Sera and Ganden Monasteries.
Visit Drepung Monastery for the whole morning, later after drive to Sera Monastery, have a little hike for the beautiful valley scenery nearby and picnic there, in the afternoon, visit Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called “the court of wild rose”.
Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.
Later walk on the Barkhor Street nearby the temple, a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialties.

Day 06: Lhasa – Gyantse
In the morning you will proceed to Gyatse and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay
Today you will drive about 260KM to Gyangtse. Take a look at Yamzhog Yumco Lake on the way and overlook Kalais Kora Glacier. Yamdrok Lake is a coiling, many-armed body of water shaped like a scorpion. It doubles back on itself on the western side, effectively creating a large island within its reaches. For Tibetans, it is one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and the home of wrathful deities. The lake lies several hundred metres below the road, and in clear weather is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise. Far in the distance is the huge massif of Mt. Nojin Kangtsang (7191M)
In the afternoon, you will arrive in Gyangtse and go for the tour of Palkhor Temple, built in the 15th century, is situated in the west of Gyantse Town with mountains enclosing form three sides of the east, west and north. Its uniqueness is that its three sects of Buddism-Shaja, Ningma and Guolu stayed harmoniously under one roof.

Day 07: Gyantse - Shigatse – Gyantse
Full you will take an excursion to Shigatse
Drive about 90 Kms to Shigatse which is the second largest city in Tibet. It’s also the home town of Banchen Lama. In the afternoon, you will drop a visit of Tashilumpo monastery. Tashilumpo, sprawls on the slops of Mt. Niser, southwest of Shigatse. It covers an area of about 300,000 square meters. There are many valuable and rare historical articles in the monastery.
En route, visit Shalu monastery, which the construction was started in 1027. Its architecture is of typical combination of the Tibetan and Chinese styles with archways, carved pillars, and tilled roofs and the Song and Yuan style murals.

Day 08: Gyantse – Lhasa
In the morning you will proceed to Lhasa and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Lhasa - Kathmandu Departure
In time transfer to airport to connect return flight for Kathmandu, after reaching at Kathmandu airport board on connecting the fight for onward journey.
