Day 01: Arrival in Chengdu
Arrival in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, pick up and transferred to hotel and then free time.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Chengdu – Lhasa
In early morning as per you scheduled you will be transferred to airport and fly to Lhasa and on arrival at the Gonggar airport you will transferred to hotel.
Rest of the day you will be free for independent activities.
Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama. It is sacred because of the figures of Songtsen Gampo and his two royal consorts and the figures of Sakyamuni brought from Chang' an and Nepal. One thousand five hundred years ago Lhasa was known as Otang, which means, "plain flowing with milk," because of its rich pasture, good for grazing sheep and cattle. The Rasa Monastery soon became the Otang people's central place of worship, for it enshrined the gilded image of Sakyamuni brought from Chang's an by Princess Wen Cheng. In the course of time, the original name of the place was forgotten, and it became known simply as Rasa, which was gradually changed into the Lhasa.

Day 02: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Heritage Sites of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple.
Visit Potala, which was constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet and later reconstructed and served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas and Jokhang monastery, the center of the Tibetan Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where innumerable pilgrims come for worship everyday. The temple, built in 647, is the earliest wood-and-masonry structure still existing in Tibet.
Later explore the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street.

Day 03: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, both of them are Gelupa Monasteries and also you will visit the famous Dalai Lama summer palace - Norbulingka.
Drepung Monastery is one the three greatest Buddhist temples in Lhasa together with Sera and Ganden Monasteries.
Visit Drepung Monastery for the whole morning, later after drive to Sera Monastery, have a little hike for the beautiful valley scenery nearby and picnic there, in the afternoon, visit Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called “the court of wild rose”.
Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.
Later walk on the Barkhor Street nearby the temple, a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialties.

Day 05: Lhasa - Namatso
In the morning you will be driven to the holy Lake Namtso and hike there.

Day 06: Namatso – Tsedang
In the morning you will drive to Tsedang, en route visit Mindrolin monastery.
And on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Tsedang - Samye – Tsedang
In the morning, drive along and then cross over the Yarlung Tsangpo River by small ferry to visit the magnificent Samye monastery.
Samye monastery built in the late 8th century. It is the first monastery in Tibet that possessed the three essences of Buddhist monastery: Buddha, Scripture and Monk. The original building is no longer intact due to destruction caused by wars and natural disasters, but the monastery has been rebuilt each time and still remains the symbol of Tibet's national identity. The grand building complex was structured in the model of the boundless universe regulated by the Buddhist scripture. Its main building is a three-story tower with an interior influenced by Tibetan, Han and Indian styles. In the afternoon you drive to Yarlung valley to visit Yumbulakhang, a reconstruction of Tibet's oldest palace originally established on this site by the founder of the Yarlung dynasty - Nyatri Tsenpo during the 1st century BC.

Day 08: Lhasa- Kathmandu Departure
In time transfer to airport to connect return flight for Kathmandu, after reaching at Kathmandu airport board on connecting the fight for onward journey.
