Day 01:  Chengdu - Beijing - Xi'an to Lhasa
Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude in the afternoon,

Day 02:  Lhasa sightseeing
Today you will visit the World Heritage Sites of  Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple and explore the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street.

Day 03:  Lhasa sightseeing
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Sera Monastery, both of them are Gelupa Monasteries. And also you will visit the famous Dalai Lama summer palace - Norbulingka.

Day 04:  Lhasa -Tsurphu Monastery- Yangbachen hot- Spring - Namtso
Drive about 70 Kms west of Lhasa to visit Tsurphu Monastery, which is the seat of the Karmapa branch of the Kagyupa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Tsurphu Monastery is located in a valley, while you do Tsurphu Kora which winds up some 150m, you will have the splendid views of Tsurphu valley.

In the afternoon you will drive to Lake Namtso.

Day 05:   Excursion to Namtso Lake
Namtso Lake is considered one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and is famous for its high altitude (4720 meters), vast area (1961 square kilometers) and beautiful scenery. Today after the sunrise, you can do some hike along the lake on your own.

Day 06:  Namtso - Reting - Drigung Til Monastery
After the sunrise at Namtso, then start driving to Drigung Til via Reting Monastery, it takes about 7-8 hours. Drigung Til is the head monastery of the Drigungpa school of the Kagyupa order, right now there are about 270 monks living in. Up to the hill of Drigung Til, there is one the holiest sky-burial site in Lhasa region, if you want to see the sky-burial the next day, you need to ask for the permission from the the family of the deceased and the senior lama who conducts the ceremony. If they don't want you to attend, then just let it go.

Day 07:  Drigung - Til - Tidrum Nunnery - Ganden - Lhasa
Morning after the Sky-burial ceremony (you may not see it), start drive to Tidrum to have the local medicine hot-spring, you will also visit the nunnery.

Afternoon drive back to Lhasa, en route visit Ganden Monastery.

Day 08: Lhasa- Kathmandu Departure
In time transfer to airport to connect return flight for Kathmandu, after reaching at Kathmandu airport board on connecting the fight for onward journey.
