Day 01: Colombo - Pinnawela - Dambulla
On arrival at the airport in Colombo, you enjoy warm Sri Lankan hospitality. Our representative will provide transfer to Dambulla via Pinnawela.
Pinnawela is known for its unique elephant orphanage that started a scientific captive-breeding program for elephants. It is a must visit spot for wildlife enthusiasts visiting Sri Lanka.
Later continue drive to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya
In the morning you will proceed for Sigiriya and later head back to the hotel in Dambulla or Sigiriya.
At Polonnaruwa, a world heritage site, you can see the ruins of the Royal Palace, splendid statues of the Buddha, the Lotus Bath and more.
At Sigiriya, enjoy climbing and exploring the 5th century rock fortress which is also a world heritage site.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Sigiriya – Kandy
In the morning you will leave for Kandy On the way visit Dambulla Rock Temple and a spice garden in Matale.
Dambulla Rock Temple with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest painted area in the world. In the spice garden see Sri Lanka’s famous spices and how they are processed, also enjoy a cookery demo.
Arrive Kandy and check- in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Kandy - Peradeniya - Colombo
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya. In the afternoon head to Colombo and check in at a hotel before sightseeing.
Kandy the Royal Botanical Garden is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. At Colombo, visit a 100-year-old clock tower, several colonial buildings, Pettah bazaar, and other sightseeing locales.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05: Departure Colombo
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred to airport to the flight for onward journey.
