Day 01: Arrival Colombo
On your arrival at airport you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Colombo the capital of Srilanka and is located on the west coast of the island. The city is a bustling metropolis; the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city. Colombo is an ideal location to start the Sri Lanka sojourn.nad the city is also home to a majority of the Srilanka corporate office and entertainment venues.
In the evening you will proceed for a city sightseeing tour
Visit the Fort, Slave Island, where the slaves had their night quarters, Mount Lavinia – the famous beach, Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara – the famous Buddhist temple, Wolvendaal Church – the oldest Dutch church.
Also visit House of Fashion, ODEL, Noritake ceramic shop & a local souvenir shop.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Colombo - Kandy
In the morning you will proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela.
Pinnawela is orphanage is the home for about 60 elephants, out of which many are baby elephants found, abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. the best time to visit is during the feeding times, when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed also could accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see the elephants having their daily bath check-in at earl's regency hotel. in the evening visit the temple of the tooth relic and thereafter witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.
Later arrive Kandy and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: In Kandy
In the morning you will proceed for sightseeing of the Kandy
Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. the name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806. visit the arts & crafts centre and a gem museum and a lapidary. in the evening visit the peradeniya botanical gardens. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
In the morning you will proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced.
Nuwara Eliya popularly referred as the ‘City of Light’ and also the heart of Srilanka’s tea country. The cool climate and the tea plantation welcome and attract the tourists from all over the world.
Afternoon proceed for a city sightseeing tour
Visit the Horton Plains, the famous botanical gardens and Tea Plantation. And a tea plantation and a tea factory, to Know about the process of manufacturing tea. You can taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Later visit the famous 18 hole golf course.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Nuwara Eliya – Kitulgala - Colombo
In the morning you will proceed to Colombo via Kitulgala.
Kitulgala is the place where the famous 'bridge on the river Kwai' film was made. also Enroute observe the water falls St. Clare's and Devon.
Arrive Colombo and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: In Colombo
Full day at you will be at leisure on the beach.
In the evening you will be free to explore local animated market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Departure Colombo
Later as per scheduled you will be transferred to airport to the flight for onward journey.
