Day 01: Arrival Colombo
On arrival at airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel

Colombo the capital of Srilanka and is located on the west coast of the island. The city is a bustling metropolis, the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city. Colombo is an ideal location to start the Sri Lanka sojourn.nad the city is also home to a majority of the Srilanka corporate office and entertainment venues. 

In the morning you will proceed for a city sightseeing tour

Visit the Fort, Slave Island, where the slaves had their night quarters, Mount Lavinia – the famous beach, Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara – the famous Buddhist temple, Wolvendaal Church – the oldest Dutch church. Also visit House of Fashion, ODEL, Noritake ceramic shop & a local souvenir shop.

Day 02:  Colombo – Sigriya
In the morning you will proceed to Sigiriya and climb the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya, built by King Kasiappa (473 - 491 AD). The lion rock is a citadel of unusual beauty, rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. See the world famous frescoes of the "Heavenly Maidens" of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock.

Evening you will be at leisure.

Day 03: Sigriya – Kandy
After breakfast proceed to Kandy, enroute visiting the Dambulla Rock Temple, which was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century BC. Dambulla too is a world heritage site and is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave Temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq.mtrs of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. Also, visit a Spice Garden in Matale.

Afternoon you will be at leisure.

 In the late evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show.

Day 04: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
In the morning you will proceed to Kandy - the last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings.

The name Kandy conjures visions of a storied past, splendor, legend, folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive for countless years.
Visit a Gem lapidary. Also, visit the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, which was originally the pleasure garden of the Royalty. Nearly 4000 species of plants are found in this garden and it is encircled by the Mahaweli River.

Later proceed to Nuwara Eliya, enroute visiting a Tea Plantation and a Factory. Nuwara Eliya is the location for one of the finest 18 hole Golf Courses in Asia. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located here.

Day 05: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo
After breakfast proceed to Colombo via Kitulgala where the famous "Bridge on the River Kwai" film was made. Enroute observe the two Water Falls, Devon and St. Clare's.

 Later drive to Colombo and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Depart Colombo
Later as per scheduled you will be transferred to airport to the flight for onward journey.
