Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On your arrival at Kathmandu you will be met and transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Kathmandu the capital of the Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Day 02: In Kathmandu
Enjoy a full day city tour of Kathmandu,
Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Residence of the Living Goddess near the Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess). Its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved.
Afternoon city tour of Kathmandu city includes Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, Hanuman, it has evolved to its present state of maturity over a period of centuries with contributions from a number of dynasties, headed by Malla kings. It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Rest of the evening is free to enjoy exploring local animated markets,

Day 03: Kathmandu – Paro
In the morning as per your scheduled you will be transferred to the airport to board flight for Paro and on arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Paro one of Bhutan's most impressive and well-known dzongs, and the finest example of Bhutanese architecture. The inward-sloping walls form a massive structure that towers over the town and is visible as a great white monolith from vantage points throughout the valley.
Full day we take city tour of Paro.
Visiting of the Drukgley Dzong and on a clear day the 24,000 ft. white domed peak of sacred Chomolhari (Mt. of Goddess) looms overhead. A visit to the National Museum housed in an ancient watch tower, which has a fine collection of Thangkha, textiles, weapons, and artefacts-short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.

Day 02: Paro - Thimphu
In the morning you will proceed for Thimpu by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Visit Ta Dzong (built in1656 and renovated in 1968), an ancient watchtower, which now houses the National Museum. Below the museum is the Rimpung Dzong (literally meaning "Heap of Jewels"), the centre of civil and religious authority in this valley, built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Evening drive to Thimphu you pass the striking Tacho Gompa founded by the Tibetan saint, you will reach to Chuzom marks by the confluence of Paro Chu(river) and the Wang chu. Opposite you, at the confluence, are three protecting chortens each built in a different style.

Day 03: In Thimphu
In the morning you will proceed for visit to the National Memorial Chorten (1974) built in honor of our late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk and the Dupthop Lhakhang one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. We then visit the National Library, stocked with ancient Buddhist manuscripts, and the Painting School where traditional art is still kept alive through instructions in the art of painting Thangkas (sacred Buddhist religious scrolls). After lunch we drive to the Traditional Medicine Institute where medicines are prepared according to ancient practices, and to Lungtenzampa to observe the Royal silver smiths and Bhutanese paper factory at work. Other highlights include a visit to the Tashichho Dzong, seat of the national government and the Central Monastic Body, including the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan). We finally visit the Handicrafts Emporium followed by shopping for souvenirs in the shops of Thimphu.

Day 04: Thimphu – Punakha
In the morning you will drive to Punakha via Dochula pass.
The Temple is also known as "the Temple of Fertility ". In Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and is situated between Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu ( Female River ) . For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The construction of the Dzong was foretold by Guru Rimpoche, who predicted, "a person named Namgyal will arrive at a hill that looks like an elephant". There was a smaller building here called Dzong Chu (Small Dzong) that housed a statue of Buddha. It is said that Shabdrung ordered the architect, Zowe Palep, to sleep in front of the statue, while Palep was sleeping; the Shabdrung took him in his dreams to Zangtopelri and showed him the palace of Guru Rimpoche. From his vision, the architect conceived the design for the new Dzong, which in keeping with the tradition, was never committed to paper. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). The war materials captured during the battle with Tibetans are preserved here. Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk convened the new national Assembly here in 1952.

Day 07: Paro - Kathmandu
In the morning as per your scheduled you will be transferred to the airport to board flight for Kathmandu and on arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Rest of the day you will be free to explore the local animated market.

Day 08: Kathmandu - Zhangmu
Head to Koari in the morning, from where you will cross the friendship bridge to Zhangmu after completing all the immigration formalities. There is again a drive to the main Zhangmu center which is around 115 km long and takes around 4 hrs to cover. After arrival, check in at hotel. Enjoy the pleasant Zhangmu climate.

Day 09: Zhangmu - New Tingri
Drive to Xegar crossing Nyalam (3800 m) and Lulung (5050 m) passes. The journey is an absolute dream for all nature lovers as one gets stunning views of the high Himalayas including the great Mt. Everest. This 8 hrs journey is long but the entire stretch of 242 km is full of wonderful sceneries.
Arrive at New Tingri and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: New Tingri - Shigatse
Nepal Bhutan Tibet Tour day is set for another long journey through the sublime landscapes of Tibet. The distance between New Tingri and Shigatse is around 244 km and it takes around 8 hrs to cover the distance. On arrival, check in at hotel. You will still have half the day with you that you can spend which ever way you want.

Day 11: Shigatse - Gyantse
The distance between Shigatse and Gyantse is not much. The 90 km stretch can easily be covered in 2 hrs. So before leaving Shigatse, we visit the enchanting Tashilhunpo Monastery and the free market. We continue our drive to Gyantse. In the evening, visit the Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum stupa.

Day 12: Gyantse - Lhasa
After a sumptuous Tibetan breakfast, drive towards the capital city of Lhasa. The 8 hrs ride takes you through KARO Pass (5010 m), KAMBA Pass (4794 m) and Yamdruk Lake. The distance is around 259 km.
On arrival, directly check in at hotel. Remove all the exhaustions of the long drive by resting for the night in the calm atmosphere of the hotel.
Day 13: In Lhasa
Lhasa is a city full of surprises and fantasies.
The day is for exploring the attractions of the city, there will bea a full day sightseeing city tour.
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street.
Later back you will to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: In Lhasa
Even after a full day of touring inside the city, there are still a lot of places that are yet to be covered. This day as well is set aside for sightseeing inside the city. Explore Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, and Norbulingka.

Day 15: Lhasa - Kathmandu
After breakfast, move on to airport for boarding the flight CA 407 to Kathmandu that leaves Lhasa at 1025 hrs local time and arrives in Kathmandu at 0925 hrs, local Kathmandu Time. In Kathmandu, our guide will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 16: Departure Kathmandu
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred to the airport to board on flight for onward journey. |
