Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Tour

The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is 175 square kilometers of wildlife refuge and wetlands habitat established in 1976. It is located in Eastern Nepal and provide one of the best places in Nepal to view migratory water fowl, waders and shore birds during the winter months. Many species not recorded elsewhere in the region have been seen here. Thousands of birds congregate here in January and February before they migrate north when the warm weather begins. Well qualified nature guides take the guests out on walks, jeep drives. And boat rides to look for birds and the wild buffalo found only here in Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
On early morning arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Afternoon city tour of Kathmandu city includes Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, Hanuman, it has evolved to its present state of maturity over a period of centuries with contributions from a number of dynasties, headed by Malla kings.
