Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On your arrival at Kathmandu you will be met and transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Kathmandu the capital of the Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Day 02: In Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Daxinkali Temple.
This temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali is, situated 18 Kms west of Kathmandu and is regarded as one of most important Hindu goddesses. On Tuesdays and Saturdays devotees visit this temple to offer prayer and animal sacrifices.
On return visit Kirtipur. This small settlement eight kilometers south of Kathmandu is situated on the top of a hill. Old houses, temple and shrines and people dressed in traditional attires are common scene here.
Then drive back to Kathmandu. Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Residence of the Living Goddess near the Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess). Its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved.
Later city tour of includes Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, Hanuman, it has evolved to its present state of maturity over a period of centuries with contributions from a number of dynasties, headed by Malla kings. It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Rest of the evening is free to enjoy exploring local animated markets,

Day 03: Kathmandu – Bhaktapur - Nagarkot
In the morning take a sightseeing of Bhaktapur and Thimi Village.
Bhaktapur is an important cultural town of Nepal locally known by Khwopa—is world renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, temples and indigenous lifestyle. The city also famous for its majestic monuments, colorful festivals and the native Newars best known for their long history of craftsmanship, the ancient city is also variously known as the "City of Culture", the "Living Heritage" and "Nepal’s Cultural Gem".
Visit Durbar Square, National Art Gallery, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatraya Temple Surya Vinayak, Potters Square and Taumadhi Square.
Later drive to to Nagarkot and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Morning Trek from Nagarkot - Nala - Dhulikhel (5-6 Hrs)
In the morning get into your walking shoe. The trail leads down hill from here. After walking for about 2 hours you will reach the very old Nala Village. On the way you will see beautiful farmlands with farmers working on their farms. You will be served with packed lunch here. After finishing your lunch start your trek again. You will follow the trail heading towards south-east.
After about 3 hours’ walk you will reach Dhulikhel and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Trek from Dhulikhel to Namobouddha and then onto Panauti (5-6 Hrs)
In the morning continue your trek.
We will follow a motor-able trail for about 1 hour uphill, but we follow some shortcut trails on the way. The trail we follow will be composite of uphill, downhill and flat somewhere. We will reach Namobouddha after 2 ½ hours’ trek. Namobouddha is a famous Buddhist Shrine where Gautam Buddha had fed his own flesh to a hungry tigress who had just given a new birth. There is a stone craft inside the temple in which the picture of Buddha feeding his flesh to a tigress is carved. After spending some time here we will follow the trail toward Panauti. The trail is steep down hill towards westerly direction for about one hour. Then we will follow a moderate downhill inclination from here. On the way you will cross a suspension bridge and go through many small villages. The huge rice fields on the way provide you to see how Nepali people plant & Harvest the rice during summer. After walking for about another 1 ½ hours we will reach this old city of Panauti. Old temples, shrines and ornately decorated houses are a common sight here.
From here we will be picked up by our vehicle and transferred to Kathmandu.

Day 06: Excursion to Patan and Tibetan Resettlement Camp
In the morning Half day sightseeing of Patan and Tibetan Resettlement Camp.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 07: Kathmandu Departure
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred to International airport to board flight for onward Journey. |
