Natural Nepal & Cultural Bhutan Tour

Places to visit: Kathmandu - Pokhara – Patan - Bhaktapur - Chitwan – Kathmandu - Paro – Thimpu - Wangdiphodrang   – Punakha – Paro - Kathmandu 


Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu 
On your early morning arrival at international airport, transfer to your hotel.

 

Kathmandu the capital and cultural hub of Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.  


Day 02: In Kathmandu 
Morning proceed to sightseeing of the city


Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess), its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved. Later visit Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal.  A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized.


Rest of the day you will be free to enjoy exploring local animated market.
Stay overnight at hotel.

 

Day 06: Pokhara - Chitwan 
Morning you will drive to Chitwan and on arrival check-in into the hotel.

 

Chitwan located at the foothills of the Himalayas, which is the natural habitat of the Asiatic tiger & leopard. Chitwan is famous for its rich flora, fauna and wildlife, especially the single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger.

Afternoon you will proceed for 1st Jeep Safari to Chitwan National Park.
Early morning, proceed on a safari in jeeps into the Royal Chitwan National Park, passing through Sal forests, riverine vegetation and 'elephant grass' savannah. Spot different species of birds, butterflies and the most famous single-horned Asian rhinoceros. If lucky you will spot the Royal Bengal tiger.

 

Rest of the evening is free to enjoy for nature walks.

Day 07: In Chitwan
Morning you will proceed for 2nd Jeep Safari to Chitwan National Park. Visit the park to see one horned rhinoceros the elusive sloth bear, gaur four species of dear, wild boar giant lesser pied hornbill, marsh mugger and the rare gharial crocodile.

Rest of the afternoon you are free for independent activities.
Stay overnight at hotel / Resort.

 

Day 08: Chitwan - Kathmandu
Morning you will drive to Kathmandu and on arrival check-in into the hotel. Rest of the day you will free for to visit local market in Kathmandu.
Stay overnight at your hotel.

 

Day 09: Kathmandu - Paro
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Paro, and arrival met and transfer to hotel.


Rest of day you are free for independent activities.

Stay overnight at hotel.


Paro one of Bhutan's most impressive and well-known dzongs, and the finest example of Bhutanese architecture. The inward-sloping walls form a massive structure that towers over the town and is visible as a great white monolith from vantage points throughout the valley.

 

Day 10: Paro – Thimpu (65 Kms /02 Hrs)
Full day we take city tour of Paro.

 

Visiting of the Drukgley Dzong and on a clear day the 24,000 ft. white domed peak of sacred Chomolhari (Mt. of Goddess) looms overhead. A visit to the National Museum housed in an ancient watch tower, which has a fine collection of Thangkha, textiles, weapons, and artefacts-short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.

 

Afternoon proceed for Thimpu by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay at hotel.

 

Thimphu is the Capital to the tiny Himalayan kingdom Bhutan. Thimphu is a gallery of traditional Bhutanese art, architecture, culture, and tradition and above all still so ethnic and pure. Full of wonderful Hand woven textiles, woodcarving, and tailor made clothing, jewelry. And it is said that Thimphu is the only world capital without traffic lights.

 

Day 11:  In Thimpu
Full day you will take visit to Thimpu

 

Morning visit to the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient Buddhist National Institute for Zorig Chumsu is commonly known as 'the painting school and Dechenchholing valley and witness the gold and silver smiths at work.

 

Afternoon you will take a visit to handicrafts Emporium, to see the exquisite artistry of traditional crafts and textiles.

Day 12: Thimpu - Wangduephodrang – Punakha (77 Kms / 03 & ½ Hrs)
Morning you will drive to Punakha en-route stop at Wangduephodrang,

Punakha had once served as the winter capital of Bhutan. A three-hour winding mountain drive from Thimphu will land you in Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. The route climbs past the forestry research station at Yusupang, then through apple orchards and forests of blue pine. A temperate climate and natural drainage from the phochu (male) and Mochu (female) rivers, the fertile Punakha valley produces abundant crops and fertile Punakha valley produces abundant crops and fruit. Viewing the scenery and then descend till you reach the Punakha Dzong located between Mochu and Phochu (Male 8 Female) rivers. The Dzong and the two rivers add exclusively to the scenic beauty of Punakha valley.

 

Later drive to Wangduephodrang (stop for visit) and further to Punakha and on arrival check-in into the hotel.

 

Later visit Punakha Dzong - one of the most beautiful Dzong in Bhutan and also for having been built by the first Shabdrung in 1637.

Day 13: Punakha – Paro (143 Kms / 05 Hrs)
Morning proceed to Paro by surface, on arrival check-in into hotel. Evening you will be free to visit local animated market.

 Day 14: Paro - Kathmandu Departure
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred to airport to connect return flight for Kathmandu, After reaching at Kathmandu airport board on connecting the fight for onward journey.
