Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Full day proceed for city sightseeing of Delhi
Morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb - a red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, Also drive past Parliament House and Presidency House.
Afternoon visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest and best-known mosques, and drive past Red Fort later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 02: Delhi - Leh (Flight)
In the morning as per scheduled departure transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Leh and on arrival at Leh transfer your hotel.
Rest of the day you will free for independent activities.

Leh - Ladakh known as the land of passes is at an altitude of 11500 Ft. a land like no other and bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram, Leh district comprises of Leh town and 112 inhabited villages and one un-inhabited village.
Day 03: In Leh
Morning visit Leh Palace, Gompa and the Bazaar.
A miniature version of the Potala in Lhasa, the Leh Palace is one of the major attractions. The palace was built in the 17th century and was the home of the royal family until they were exiled to Stok in the 1830s.
The Mughal emperor Aurangzeb commissioned the mosque at the head of the Leh Bazaar.
Afternoon you will proceed for excursion of Phyang & Spituk monastery
At a distance of 8 km from Leh, Spituk Gompa was built in the 15th century and houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms, icons and thangkas. Belonging to the Brokpa sect, the Phyang gompa was built in the 16th century and houses hundreds of statues, thangkas, old manuscripts and some old weapons.

Day 04: In Leh
Full day you will be on excursion of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis.
Until the 16th century, the Shey gompa was the royal residence. It is located at a distance of 15 km south of Leh. This Palace Monastery has the largest statue of Maitreya Buddha (the Buddha to come) in Ladakh. Erected in the mid-17th century, worked out of gold and gilded copper sheets with blue hair, it stands 17.5 m high.
Thikse gompa is an imposing monastery and one of the finest examples of Ladakhi architecture. The 12-story monastery complex contains numerous stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings, swords and a large pillar engraved with the Buddha's teachings.
Hemis is one of the biggest gompa in Ladakh. Was built in 1630. It is also known as Chang Chub Sam Ling or 'the lone place of the compassionate person.
Day 05: Leh - Spituk - Zinchen (4 hour trek)
In the morning you will drive 10 km to Spituk from where you trek starts through valleys and passes of Ladakh.
Visit the Spituk Gompa.
Later cross the Indus River and enter in the Valley of Zinchen River. It takes approx. 4 hours. You will be accommodated at Camp near the village in the valley.

Day 05: Zinchen - Yurutse (5 Hour trek)
In the morning you will pass the beautiful valley of Zinchen. Climb up to 4900 m by difficult zigzag footpath. Then steep down to summer meadows of Stok. Follow the River Kangri Massif which comes from Stok.
You will be accommodated at tented camp for overnight at the camp.
Day 06: Yurutse - Ganda La - Shingo - Skiu (6 or 7 Hour Trek)
In the morning you will follow the path along the mountainside.
Then cross a small picturesque valley. Follow zigzag steep pat. Then cross Ganda La. Trek down toward Shingo. Later after 2 hour trekking down you will in the Valley of Markha. Then trek few hundred metres to rich Skiu.
You will be accommodated here at the tent for overnight stay in the camp.
Day 07: Skiu - Markha (7 Hour Trek)
Take your breakfast at the camp. Follow a good path on the right bank of the Valley of Markha. See the rich flora. Cross the right bank of River. Then cross through barren plain to arrive at Chaluk.
Then trek along the left bank of River. Trek upwards to rich Markha Village. You will be accommodated at camp beyond the village and near river.
Stay overnight at your camp.
Day 08: Markha - Hankar (4 Hour Trek)
In the morning you will start trekking toward the main Valley of Markha on the right bank. Pass through difficult path and visit the Monastery of Humlung. Continue your trek along the right bank. Arrive at Hankar Village. You will be accommodated at camp near the village.
Stay overnight at your camp.
Day 09: Hankar - Nimaling (4 Hour Trek)
Take your breakfast at the camp. Start your trek through improved path. Cross a broad valley on the right side. The valley becomes narrow and higher. Cross bridges on the left bank to arrive Tchatchuste. Climb pastures to arrive at Nimaling Valley. This is one of the most beautiful high valleys in Ladakh. You will be accommodated at tented camp near the valley.
Stay overnight at your camp.
Day 10: In Nimaling
Complete Rest in Nimaling with all meals. You may explore beautiful surroundings.
Day 11: Nimaling - Kongmaru La - Shang Sumdo (7 Hour Trek)
Take your breakfast at the camp. Cross the Valley of Markha. Follow long climb along the ridge. Trek with zigzag path which lead towards Kongmarula. Trek steep down into gorges and then continue trekking on the left bank to Chukirmo. Cross right and left bank to arrive and Shang Sumdo. It is a beautiful camp site in the groves. Visit the monastery which situated at the very short distance of the village.
Stay overnight will be at the camp.
Day 12: Shang Sumdo - Hemis (3 or 4 Hour Trek)
Take your breakfast at the camp. Proceed to visit the Hemis Monastery. It is 360 years old monastery in Ladakh. Dinner and overnight will be at Hemis.
Day 13: Leh – Delhi
In the morning as per schedule you will be transferred to airport to board flight for Delhi, and on arrival transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day you will be free for independent activities.

Day 14: Delhi – Departure
Later in time transfer to international airport of Delhi take the flight to your onward destination. |
