Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
On arrival at international airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

 

Mumbai is an industrial metropolis as well as the textile and film capital of the country. It was once a cluster of 7 islands. Bombay was ceded to the Portugese by the local ruler in the 16th Century.  Later, it was acquired by the English when it was given as a dowry to King Charles II when he married a Portuguese princess.  Today cosmopolitan Bombay is a commercial nerve centre apart from being one of India’s busiest ports.


Day 02: In Mumbai
In the morning we take a half-day excursion to the Elephanta Caves.

 

Elephanta is a 3 Kms long elongated island, consisting of two hills separated by a valley.  See Shiva in his three-headed aspect: as Creator (facing right), Protector (the crowned face at the center), and Destroyer (facing left, with serpents for hair). Also visit to Shiva bringing the Ganges River down to Earth.

 

Afternoon take the Half day tour Mumbai.


Visit the Juhu Beach, Gateway of India, Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Drive past the “Towers of Silence”, Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens situated on the slope of Malabar Hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach. Drive through local animated Crawford market.

Day 03: Mumbai – Goa
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred to airport to connect flight for Goa  and on arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel and on arrival check- in hotel.


Rest of the day you will be free to explore local animated market.

 

The azure seas of the Goa yield a variety of the fresh, tasty seafood and fish. the cultural and historical heritage of Goa, demonstrates a symbiotic relationship between East and the West. The churches, temples and mosques in Goa set an example of religious harmony and secularism before other states in India. Goa remained under Portuguese command for about 450 years. In 1961, Goa became a union territory along with Daman and Diu in India. In 1987, Goa became the 25th state of India. And now it is immensely popular tourist destination.

 

Day 04: In Goa
Morning depart for the full day city tour of Goa

 

Visiting Se Cathedral, St. Catherine’s Church and Church of St. Francis Xavier In the former lies the uncorrupted body of St. Francis Xavier in a silver casket and the latter houses 14 magnificent altars and five bells of which one is the famous golden Bell, and famous Basilica of Bom Jesus and The tour continues with a drive to Dona Paula beach, later drive past Miramar Beach. 

 

Later pick up and Return to your resort for overnight stay.

 

Day 05: In Goa
Full day you are free for independent activities. Laze on the beach, go for a swim, explore the shops for cashew nuts, buy holiday wear or take an optional tour visiting “Goa of the past” mockup village which portrays Goa what it was 100 years ago.

Day 06: Goa - Belgaum - Badami (275 Kms / 06 Hrs)
In the morning you will proceed to Badami enroute visiting Belgaum - a total picture of contrasts. On one side is the old town area and modern on other, in the heart of Belgaum is the Fort. Inside it are most famous Kamala Basti, the Jain Temple & the Jama Masjid.

Day 07: In Badami
Rock-cut cave Temples, Gateways, Forts, Inscriptions, and sculptures that seem to come alive before your eyes. Badami has to be seen to be believed. Climb a flight of steps to reach the ancient caves - all hewn out of sand stone on the precipice of a hill. Also a must see are Bhutanatha temples that lend their names to the lake just beneath the cave temples. Take a dip in this green tranquil river. It is said to have the healing properties. Badami also has the eighteen inscriptions ranging from 06th to 09th century.

Day 08: Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet

Today is your lucky day as you are going to Hospet enroute visiting Aihole and Pattadakal, and for that nothing can be said as everything is self-explanatory. Aihole which is famous as the "cradle of the Indian Architecture"


 You will also visit Pattadakal - Situated on the left bank of the Malaprabha river, a world heritage centre, has 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture, later continue towards Hospet.

Day 09: In Hospet
Come with us this morning to explore the beautiful world of Hospet. The tourist importance of this place lies in its proximity to Hampi, the site of the medieval Vijaynagar empire, (13 kms) is the most evocative of all the ruins in Karnataka.

Day 10: Hospet - Hassan
Have your breakfast and head towards the destination that has it all. Yes! You guessed it right. We are going to Hassan. Set and refresh into hotel. Take an excursion to Belur & Halebid, a beautiful example of Hoyasala's architecture. Famous of them is The Chennakeshava Temple : which took 103 years to complete. The temples of Halebid bear mute testimony to the rich, cultural heritage of Karnataka. Stay overnight at your hotel.


Day 11: Hassan - Shravanabelagola - Hassan
See the splendour of Shravanabelagola. 51 kms south - east of Hassan, one of most important Jain Pilgrim centres. Here is the 17m high monolith of Lord Bahubali - the world's tallest monolithic statue. Rest of the day you will remain free to explore the surroundings. Spend your night at hotel.


Day 12: Hassan - Madikeri
In the morning we will be going to Madikeri, a place which is called as the "Scotland Of India". On arrival set yourself in the hotel, refresh yourself and come with us to visit Madikeri Fort , Abbey Falls , Nisargadhama - Known for its calm, serene beauty, this place is an ideal picnic spot visited by hundreds of tourists throughout the year.

Day 13: Madikeri - Mysore
In the morning you will drive to Mysore and on arrival check-in into the hotel.


Mysore city was the capital of the old royal Mysore province. The word Mysore expands to Mahishasurana Ooru" means the town of Mahishasura. The story goes that the demon Mahishasura was killed by goddess Chamundeshwari a top the Chamundi hill near Mysore, and hence the name. Ever since, the Mysore royal family has worshipped Chamundeshwari as the palace deity. Hills dedicated to her stand at the eastern end of Mysore town today.

Day 14: In Mysore
In the morning you will proceed for sight seeing tour of Mysore.


Visiting Mysore Palace-the Capital of the warrior-kings Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore, Mysore Palace, Nandi Bull St Philomena's Church etc; Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings. In the evening visit the Chamundi hill temple and Bull temple.

Day 15: Mysore - Srirangapatnam – Bangalore
In the morning, you are free to explore the beautiful surroundings.


Afternoon drive to Bangalore enroute visiting Srirangapatnam - capital of the warrior - King Hyder Ali & his son Tipu Sultan has magnificent monuments that are well worth a visit.


In the evening, you will drive to Bangalore and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.


Bangalore is a cosmopolitan and modern city, one of the fastest growing in India, attracting industry and commerce.  The city founded by a Hola King in sixteenth century and later become the fortress tower of the Tipu Sulatan and finally a British cantonment.  Over the past decades Bangalore has become the India’s fastest growing city and the hub for national IT industry. This is the charm of Bangalore along with its pleasant temperate climate, beautiful gardens that are a legacy of the Raj and friendly people.


Day 16: Bangalore Departure
In the morning proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Bangalore


Sightseeing tour of this city of gardens visiting the Cubbon Park spread over 100 acres, and having a variety of flora.  During the drive you will view the Maharaja’s Palace, the Indian Institute of Science, the Public Library, the State Government Museum, and Vidhana Soudha, an imposing structure in granite built in the Dravidian style.  See the Bull Temple and visit the Mysore Arts and Craft Center.


Later evening you will be transferred to the international airport to connect flight for you onward destination.
