Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend.  It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone.  From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.

 

Day 02: In Delhi
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.

 

Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi,  Visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal.  Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.


Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

 

Stay overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (205 Kms /4 & ½Hrs)
In the mmorning drive to Agra, visit Sikandra en route.

 

Akbar's tomb at Sikandra has a large arched entrance and green lawns, the entrance is decorated with marble inlay work around the arch, and the inner surface of the dome of the tomb is decorated with images of flowers, geometric designs and Islamic calligraphy.

After visit Sikandra continue drive to Agra and on arrival check in the hotel.

 

Later take Half day tour of Agra.

 

Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. A pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.

 

Visiting Taj Mahal, the monument of love built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in sweet memory of his wife after she died in 1631. Later visit the Agra Fort, this was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. And Itimid-ud-Daulah Tomb, which is also known as Mini Taj because of its resemblance; however it was built before the Taj Mahal.

Day 04: Agra – Jaipur (240Kms / 05Hrs)
In the morning you will dive to Jaipur, en rout en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. 

 

An epic in red sandstone; a city of yesteryears today lost in the mists of time. A sonless Akbar had gone to Sikri to seek blessings of a Muslim saint Sheikh Salim Chishti. When his son was finally born, he in gratitude constructed his capital city and named it Fatehpur Sikri. Later Fatehpur Sikri is also known as Abandoned Capital of Mughal Empire. 

 

After visit Fatehpur Sikri continue drive to Jaipur check-in onto hotel for overnight stay.

 

In 1876 A.D. Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria and earned the epitaph ‘PINK CITY', it is also a home of excellent handicrafts especially known for the exquisite gold jewellery enameled or inlaid with precious stones, blue pottery, carving on wood, stone & ivory, block print, tie & dye textiles, hand made paper, miniature painting etc.

 

Day 05: In Jaipur
In the mmorning we take an excursion to the Amber Fort and afternoon visit the city.

 

Visiting impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. A royal elephant ride to ascend the fort (depending upon the availability else by jeep).Later stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography. Hawa Mahal was built in 1799, its original intention was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen.

Day 06: Jaipur - Delhi (265 Kms / 06 Hrs)
In the mmorning proceed to Delhi by surface and on arrival check-in into hotel.
The afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own.

Day 07: Delhi – Goa
In the morning as per schedule you will take the flight to Goa and on arrival you will be met and transfer to the hotel.

 

Today you will at relax and acclimatize to the high altitude and rarified air. Afternoon take a very leisurely stroll or spend your time reading in the premises of the hotel.

 

Being the epicenter of spices, indigo and cotton trade, the cultural and historical heritage of Goa, demonstrates a symbiotic relationship between East and the West. The churches, temples and mosques in Goa set an example of religious harmony and secularism before other states in India. Goa remained under Portuguese command for about 450 years. In 1961, Goa became a union territory along with Daman and Diu in India. In 1987, Goa became the 25th state of India. And now it is immensely popular tourist destination.

 

Day 08: In Goa
Morning depart for the full day city tour of Old Goa and New Goa

 

Visiting Se Cathedral, St. Catherine's Church and Church of St. Francis Xavier In the former lies the uncorrupted body of St. Francis Xavier in a silver casket and the latter houses 14 magnificent altars and five bells of which one is the famous golden Bell, and famous Basilica of Bom Jesus and The tour continues with a drive to Dona Paula beach, later drive past Miramar Beach. 

 

The tour ends in city capital Panjim, where you may go on a free for visit local animated market.

 

Later pick up and Return to your hotel / beach resort.

Day 09: In Goa

The entire day is left free for you to spend it the way you like. Beach in the morning and have hedonism of the sun, sand and sea.

You can also avail traditional Ayurvedic massage packages to help soothe your spirits. (on direct payment Basis).

 

Day 10: Goa – Cochin

In time assistance transfer to Goa airport to board flight for Cochin, and on arrival at Cochin you will be transfer to hotel.

 

One of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian Sea coast, Kochi, earlier known as Cochin, has been a port of all for foreign traders from early times. The city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub .Chinese Fishing Nets at the entrance of Cochin harbor are a fascinating sight.  Bolgatty Island houses Bolgatty Island built by the Dutch in 1774, which is former residence of the British Resident of Kochi. The Portuguese led by Vasco Da Gama arrived in 1502 and later the Dutch and the British.  And descendants of the Jews who arrived in ancient days still live here.


Later take Half day tour Cochin.

 

Visiting Fort Cochin, proceed on a sight seeing tour to attractions such as the Dutch Palace,


Chinese Fishing Nets named after the country of their origin. Jewish Synagogue,  in Mattancherry was built in 1568 and rebuilt in 1664 with Chinese willow-patterned tiles and gold crowns and has ancient scrolls,  Mattancherry Palace,  See St. Francis Church, the first European Church in India, where Vasco Da Gama was buried until his remains were taken back to Portugal, and Fort Cochin. Visit the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1510 and later taken over by the Dutch.


Relax in the afternoon and spend time at leisure.

Day 11: Cochin – Munnar (168 Kms / 6 Hrs.)
Morning proceed for Munnar by surface, Enroute enjoy the Cardamom hills and green tea plantations, and on arrival check-in into the resort.

Munnar, Tea estates provides a panoramic view of the valley and tea plantation. The enchanting high range of lakes and streams, the low-flying clouds and the mist-filled valleys cast a magical spell, which lingers long in the memory. The hill area is breathtakingly beautiful and is easily comparable to the best mountain ranges found anywhere in the world.


Morning take visit to Eravikulam National Park,

 

Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, and The Mattupetty Lake and dam, just a short distance from the farm, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market. 

 

Day 12: Munnar – Periyar
Leave Munnar and proceed for a visit to the Periyar National Park.

 

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the well-known wildlife sanctuaries in the south. Also called the Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary, this place is ideal for watching the animals in their natural habitat. This lake serves as the waterhole for the animals and they come here to drink or take a dip. Elephants, Gaur, Sambhar and even tigers can be spotted here.

Later a boat ride to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. During your boat cruise, you will also be able to have a good look at many wild animals lazing on the banks of Lake Periyar. 

 

Arrival, check-in into resort near Periyar.

Evening visit the Kumily spice village and retire to the forest lodge for overnight stay.

 

Day 13: Periyar – Kottayam -Houseboat
In the morning you will depart to Periyar for Kottayam to board a traditional houseboat for an overnight backwater cruise.

 

 Day 14: Arrive Alleppey – Kovalam
The houseboat cruise ends the next morning at Alleppey, proceed on a drive to Kovalam, and on arrival, check-in into hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 15: In Kovalam

Spend the day at leisure enjoying the beauty of the picturesque beach town Kovalam. You can also avail traditional Ayurvedic massage packages to help soothe your spirits.

 

Day 16: In Kovalam

Recharge your senses in the day with herbal oil Ayurvedic massages and spend the remaining day at Kovalam enjoying nature at play

.

Day 17: Kovalam – Trivandrum Depart
In time proceed to Trivandrum airport to board flight for onward journey.
