Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Day 02: In Delhi
Morning you will be proceed for a day sightseeing tour of the city.
Morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb - a red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, Also drive past Parliament House and Presidency House.
Afternoon visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest and best-known mosques, and drive past Red Fort later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Amritsar (300 Kms/05 Hrs)
In the morning you will drive to Amritsar and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Around the Golden Temple, the holy city of Amritsar came into being. Guru Ram Das the successor go Guru Amar Das, came to live near this tranquil and peaceful site, and started building the pilgrimage centre around the small pool, (later to become the Sarowar) which had initially drawn Guru Amar Das. The Jallianwala Bagh is a memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by the British General Dyer. There is the well into which the crowds jumped to escape the murderous hail of bullets and a simple memorial at the site that shaped India's destiny.
Evening an excursion to Wagah Border,
Wagah Border is between India and Pakistan, where you can view the ceremonial changing of the guard at dusk. Be in your seat just half an hour before sunset. Make sure you have a grandstand view of the high- stepping guards as they go through the immaculately contrived nightly parade of closing the border and ceremonial lowering of the flags.

Day 04: Amritsar – Chandigarh
In the morning proceed for Chandigarh and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Chandigarh as this is one of the most modern cities in the country was designed by Le Corbusier - The famous French architect. A most important site in the city is the Rock Garden, the place that has been captured by millions of cameras. Rose Garden is another important landmark and a part of Leisure Valley, a garland of gardens that ornaments the city. Government Museum and Art Gallery displays some important stone sculptures of ancient India.
Afternoon you will take visit to the city, Secretariat, High Court, State Library, Assembly Chambers, Rose Gardens, University, Botanical Garden and the beautiful lake.
Day 05: Chandigarh – Delhi
In morning you will proceed to Delhi and on arrival check-in into the hotel
In the afternoon you will be free to explore the local animated market on your own.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 06: Departure Delhi
In the morning as per your scheduled you will be transferred to the international airport for flight to onward destination. |
