Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Day 02: In Delhi
Full day proceed for city sightseeing of Delhi
Morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb - a red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, Also drive past Parliament House and Presidency House.
Afternoon visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest and best-known mosques, and drive past Red Fort later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 03: Delhi – Mussoorie (300 Kms / 07 Hrs)
In the morning you will proceed for Mussoorie by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel .
Rest for the day you will be free at Mussoorie to explore the surroundings.

Day 04: In Mussoorie
Full day you will be free at Mussoorie to explore the surroundings.

Mussoorie is one the beautiful hill stations in India and the most frequently visited. It provides excellent respite to people who want relief from the hot sultry conditions of the plains, especially since it is close enough to the capital to make just weekend trip. The name, Mussoorie is derived from plants of 'Mussoorie' which were found in abundance here. An it is fascinating hill resort. Commanding snow ranges to the north-east, and glittering views of the Doon Valley & Shiwalik ranges.
Day 05: Mussoorie- Uttarkashi
In the morning you will drive to Uttarkashi and after 05 hrs drive along the ridge line to Chamba, affords panoramic views of the high mountain peaks of Garhwal.
Then down to Tehri to join the Bhagirathi river valley, which we follow upto Gangotri.
Later continue drive to Uttarkashi and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Uttarkashi - Gangotri
In the morning you will drive to Gangotri and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
The day is spent exploring this place of pilgrimage. Thousands of Pilgrims arrive here in summer to wash away their sins in the holy Ganga, it is said that Lord Shiva sat at the base of this fall to take the Ganga into his locks, for otherwise her descent from the heavens would have split the earth.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Gangotri – Bhojbasa (13 Kms / 05 Hrs)
In the morning you will start an easy walk.
The wide trail initially passes through dense deodar forests before emerging into the wide unfrosted valley. It then carries on to a small isolated forest of pine at Chirbases, literally the abode of pines.
Arrive Bhojbasa and installation in the camp nearby a grassy meadow beside the Bhagirathi.
Stay overnight in the camp.
Day 09: Bhojbasa – Gaumukh (5 Kms / 04 Hrs)
In the morning you will continue along the pilgrim grassy hillsides.
Trail then curves, to unfold a breathtaking view of wild flowers studded meadows crowned by the Bhagirathi group of peaks Camp on a wide sandy beach at Gaumukh, where the holy Ganga gushes out of the snout of the Gangotri glacier, is set in a wide moraine-stream valley Shivling 6540 m, sits looking down like an old learned man, while the Bhagirathi I, II and III tower above.
Arrive Gaumukh and installation in the camp nearby a grassy meadow beside the Bhagirathi.
Stay overnight in the camp.
Day 10: Gaumukh – Tapovan (05 Kms / 05 Hrs)
The trail leaves its way through the terminal moraine before cutting across the Gangotri glacier and climbing steeply up to the grassy slopes to the vast ablation valley of Tapowan. The vast meadows strewn with wild flowers are situated at the base of Shivling. The Bhagirathi peaks are now almost within touching distance.
Arrive Tapovan and installation in camp is set in the heart of high mountains country for 3 nights.
Day 11: Tapovan - Kirti Bamak - Tapovan (07 Kms / 06 Hrs)
A full days walk to the Kirti Bamak glacier and to the base of peaks Kedarnath Dome 6850 m, Kirti Bamak 6500 m and to a view of Shivling from the east.
Return to camp for overnight stay.
Day 12: Tapovan - Meru Glacier - Tapovan
Today full day trekking to the Meru Glacier
Crossing the meadows of Tapowan the trail climbs into another ablation valley, which is followed to the base of Mt. Meru 6400 m - yet another of the spectacular Garhwal peaks, it's mythical name is "The mountain of Gold".
Return to camp for overnight stay.
Day 13: Tapovan – Nandavan ( 7 Kms / 06 Hrs)
This day is largely an exercise is boulder hopping. Crossing the moraine covered Gangotri glacier to Nandawan located at the confluence of the Chaturangi and the Gangotri glaciers. The Chaturangi is truly multi-hued. The massive meadows of Nandavan are situated at the base of the Bhagirathi massif. The area provides excellent sightings of Bharal (blue sheep).
Arrive Nandavan and installation in the camp nearby a grassy meadow beside the Bhagirathi.
Stay overnight in the camp.
Day 14: Nandawan - Vasuki Tal
A full days walk to the picturesque Vasuki tal lake. The trail follows a grassy ridge running parallel to the Chaturangi glaciers, across a small glaciereroded valley to Vasuki Tal. It then continues along the lateral moraine of the Chaturangi glacier to views of Mt. Satopanth.
Return to camp for overnight stay
Day 15: Nandavan – Gaumukh (13 Kms/ 05 Hrs)
Another boulder hop along the Gangotri glacier to its snout at Gangotri.
Day 16: Gaumukh – Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Retrace steps to Gangotri and on arrival straight drive to Uttarkashi.
Arrive and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 17: Uttarkashi – Rishikesh
In the morning you will be proceed for Rishikesh and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Rishikesh Known as the ‘Yoga capital of the world is the one of the holy city of India situated on bank of the river Ganges. There are a number of ashrams in and around Rishikesh, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Ashram is famous the world over for which the credit goes to the rock band Beatles. Several ashrams offer oga courses and many pilgrims from in and around the country come here to learn yoga.
Day 18: Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Rishikesh
Visit Trivani Ghat, a bathing Ghat, where there streams of Ganga, Yamuna, Sarswati are said to flow together, and visit Bharat temple, and later you are free to visit the Laxman Jhula Laxman Jhoola is beautiful sight, Raghunathji temple and thirteen storey temple is the main attractions around jhoola.
Later drive to Delhi and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 19: Delhi Departure
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred international airport to connect flight for onward journey. |
