Day 01: Mumbai Arrive
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Mumbai is an industrial metropolis as well as the textile and film capital of the country. It was once a cluster of 7 islands. Bombay was ceded to the Portugese by the local ruler in the 16th Century. Later, it was acquired by the English when it was given as a dowry to King Charles II when he married a Portuguese princess. Today cosmopolitan Bombay is a commercial nerve centre apart from being one of India’s busiest ports.
Day 02: In Mumbai
In the morning you will take a half-day excursion to the Elephanta Caves.
Elephanta is a 3 Kms long elongated island, consisting of two hills separated by a valley. See Shiva in his three-headed aspect: as Creator (facing right), Protector (the crowned face at the center), and Destroyer (facing left, with serpents for hair). Also visit to Shiva bringing the Ganges River down to Earth.
Afternoon take the Half day tour Mumbai
Visit the Juhu Beach, Gateway of India, Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Drive past the “Towers of Silence”, Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens situated on the slope of Malabar Hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach. Drive through local animated Crawford market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Mumbai – Bangalore- Mysore
In the morning take flight to Bangalore and arrival you will be met and proceed to the palace city of Mysore. Arrive Mysore and check–in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Mysore city was the capital of the old royal Mysore province. The word Mysore expands to Mahishasurana Ooru" means the town of Mahishasura. The story goes that the demon Mahishasura was killed by goddess Chamundeshwari a top the Chamundi hill near Mysore, and hence the name. Ever since, the Mysore royal family has worshipped Chamundeshwari as the palace deity. Hills dedicated to her stand at the eastern end of Mysore town today.
Later proceed for sight seeing tour of Mysore.
Visiting Mysore Palace-the Capital of the warrior-kings Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore, Mysore Palace, Nandi Bull St Philomena's Church etc; Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings. In the evening visit the Chamundi hill temple and Bull temple.

Day 04: Mysore - Chikmagalur
Today, visit the Jain pilgrimage site at Sravanabelagola, noted for its 17 metre high image of Lord Gomateshvara, which is cut into the rock of Indragiri hill.
Continue to Chikmagalur and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Chikmagalur
Visit the temples at Belur and Halebid, which are renowned for their fine sculptures.
Day 06: Chikmagalur - Hospet
Travel north to Hospet your base from which to visit Hampi.
Stay for three nights at the Malligi.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 07: Hampi
Explore the exceptional ruins at Hampi.
Day 08: Hospet - Badami
Drive across the Deccan Plateau to Badami, dramatically sited in a gorge between two sandstone hills. In the afternoon visit South Fort famous for its 6th century cave temples carved in to the sandstone cliffs.

Day 09: In Badami
From Badami visit the remarkable temples at Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole was the first Chalukyan capital and is regarded as the birthplace of Indian temple architecture.

Day 10: Badami - Goa
Morning as per scheduled time take a late evening flight for Goa and n arrival at Goa our representative transfer you to hotel for overnight stay.
Being the epicenter of spices, indigo and cotton trade, the cultural and historical heritage of Goa, demonstrates a symbiotic relationship between East and the West. The churches, temples and mosques in Goa set an example of religious harmony and secularism before other states in India. Goa remained under Portuguese command for about 450 years. In 1961, Goa became a union territory along with Daman and Diu in India. In 1987, Goa became the 25th state of India. And now it is immensely popular tourist destination.
Day 11: In Goa
Morning depart for the half day city tour of Old Goa and New Goa
Visiting Se Cathedral, St. Catherine's Church and Church of St. Francis Xavier In the former lies the uncorrupted body of St. Francis Xavier in a silver casket and the latter houses 14 magnificent altars and five bells of which one is the famous golden Bell, and famous Basilica of Bom Jesus and The tour continues with a drive to Dona Paula beach, later drive past Miramar Beach.
The tour ends in city capital Panjim, where you may go on a free for visit local animated market.
Later pick up and Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: In Goa
The entire day is left free for you to spend it the way you like. Beach in the morning and have hedonism of the sun, sand and sea.
You can also avail traditional Ayurvedic massage packages to help soothe your spirits. (on direct payment Basis).

Day 13: Goa – Mumbai Departure
Morning as per scheduled time you will be transferred to airport to board flight for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and board the connecting flight for onward journey. |
