Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Kathmandu the capital of the Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Day 02: In Kathmandu
This morning, enjoy a full day city tour of Kathmandu,
Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Residence of the Living Goddess near the Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess). Its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved.
Afternoon city tour of Kathmandu city includes Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, Hanuman, it has evolved to its present state of maturity over a period of centuries with contributions from a number of dynasties, headed by Malla kings. It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Rest of the evening is free to enjoy exploring local animated market.

Day 03: Kathmandu - Paro
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Paro, and arrival met and transfer to hotel.
Rest of day you are free for independent activities.

Paro one of Bhutan's most impressive and well-known Dzong, and the finest example of Bhutanese architecture. The inward-sloping walls form a massive structure that towers over the town and is visible as a great white monolith from vantage points throughout the valley.
Day 04: In Paro (65 Kms /02 Hrs)
Full day we take city tour of Paro.
Visiting of the Drukgley Dzong and on a clear day the 24,000 ft. white domed peak of sacred Chomolhari (Mt. of Goddess) looms overhead. A visit to the National Museum housed in an ancient watch tower, which has a fine collection of Thangkha, textiles, weapons, and artefacts-short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.

Day 05: Excursion to Taktshang monastery
In the morning we drive to visit Taktshang monastery.
Hike or take a horse ride to Taktsang Monastery viewpoint. Taktsang meaning “Tiger’s Nest” is built around a cave in which Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) meditated clings seemingly impossible to a cliff at 3000 feet above the valley floor. For the local people it is a place of pilgrimage, but for a tourist, a hike up to the viewpoint opposite the monastery can be exhausting, thrilling and mystical. The legend has it that Guru Rimpoche is had flown to the site of monastery on the back of tigress from Tibet and meditated in the cave there for three months.

Day 06: Trek to Damchena
We start the trek from National Museum at Paro and go up to Jili Dzong at Damchena. The distance between the two places is only 10 kilometer and takes about 5hrs. to reach Damchena from National Museum.

Day 07: Jiji Dzong - Jangchhu Lakha
In the Morning we start today's trek from Jiji Dzong and go to Jangchhu Lakha. It is about 10 Kms and takes about 04 Hrs. to reach Jiji Dzong.

Day 08: Jangchhu Lakha - Jimilang Tsho
Today, we go to Jimilang Tsho from Jangchu Lakha. The distance between the two places is about 11km. and it takes about four hours to reach Jimilang Tshos.The route follows forest to the foot of a valley and crosses the upper part of the Bemang Rong Chhu. Crossing innumerable ups and downs through the forest and rocks, we reach Jimilang Tsho.

Day 09: Jimilang Tsho - Simkotra
From Jimilang Tsho, we go to Simkotra. The total distance between them is only 11 kilometers which takes about four hours normal walk. While moving towards Simkotra, we go through several ups and downs till Janye Tsho. From Tsho the trail goes up to Simkotra Tsho.

Day 10: Simkotra – Phajoding
In the morning you will proceed toward Phajoding from Simkotra Tso. If we are lucky, we can view Dochu La and Jhomolhari from this trail during fair weather. The route leads to our camp site above Phajoding through juniper and rhododendron bushes.

Day 11: Phajoding - Motithang
Today, our journey goes to Motithang from Phajoding. It is just five kilometers from Phajoding to reach Motithang with a normal walk of three hours.

Day 12: Motithang – Dochula – Thimpu – Paro
In the morning down hill trek toward the Dochula from where we drive to Paro via Thimpu
Arrive Paro in the evening and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Paro – Kathmandu Departure
In the morning as per scheduled you will be transferred to airport to connect flight to Kathmandu. After reaching the airport of Kathmandu airport take the connecting flight to your onward destination. |
