Morning proceed to sightseeing of Dakshinkali and Chobhar

The temple at Dakshinkali is dedicated to the ferocious goddess who has much energy and power. It is said that she gives strong will power and energy to those who come to her and she loves sacrifices. The lake Chobhar is said to have originated when Manjushri cut a deep gorge in the wall of a huge lake to let the water out in order to observe & worship the lotus which was emanating bright light at the centre. The bed of the lake became Kathmandu Valley and the place where he cut the lake is said to be Chobhar.
