Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On your early morning arrival at international airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Kathmandu the capital and cultural hub of Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess), its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved. Later visit Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized.
Rest of the evening is free to enjoy exploring local animated market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu - Pokhara (200 Kms / 06 Hrs)
Morning proceed on a picturesque drive to the enchanting city of Pokhara, and on arrival, check-in into your hotel.
Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. Its peaceful lakeside location and proximity to the Annapurna mountain range, mean it is an ideal place for recovering from (or gearing up for) for execution. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald lakes, and of course, the world famous views of the Himalaya.
Afternoon will spent unraveling the wonders of the Pokhara Valley.
Enjoy a visit to the Tibetan settlements, the handicraft markets and the Gupteshwar cave where the Shiva lingam is preserved and finally a visit Devi's fall. In the evening enjoy boating on Phewa lake (on direct payment basis).
Rest of the evening is free to enjoy the serenity and magnificence of the Himalayas. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the serene Phewa Lake.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 03: Pokhara – Kilikasthan
Morning you will drive to Vijayapur Khola to start your trek.
As a part of your trekking tour, you will walk for half an hour through the rice fields and a river. During the Monsoon months the river is flooded therefore it becomes quite tough to cross the river. Upon crossing the river the trekking trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan.
Arrive Kilikasthan and stay overnight in the camp.
Day 04: Kalikasthan – Syaglung
Morning you will start your trekking by walking through the villages. You will be taken through the ridges so that you can have great views of Annapurna and Llamjung Himal.
Arrive Syaglung and stay overnight in the camp.
Day 05: Syaglung – Chisapani
Half way through your walk you will have a 400metre descent and then a 600 meter ascent to reach Chisapani.
Chisapani is famous for the fine glimpse of Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna. Stay overnight will be in Camp at Chisapani.
Day 06: Chisapani – Pokhara
After breakfast you will walk half way down the hill to Begnas Tal for an hour boating at Tal.
Later drive to Pokhara and overnight stay. |
