Day 01: Arrive Bangalore

Garlanding on arrival met and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Bangalore’s beginnings go back only as far as 1537.  Today it is a cosmopolitan and modern city, one of the fastest growing in India, attracting industry and commerce.  Once a little British Island in the South, it retains a distinct British flavor.


Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore

Morning proceed for city tour of Bangalore.

 

Sightseeing tour of this city of gardens visiting the Cubbon Park spread over 100 acres, and having a variety of flora.  During the drive you will view the Maharaja’s Palace, the Indian Institute of Science, the Public Library, the State Government Museum, and Vidhana Soudha, an imposing structure in granite built in the Dravidian style.  See the Bull Temple and visit the Mysore Arts and Craft Center.
Later drive to Mysore a distance of 90 Kms En-route stop at Srirangapatnam, once the capital of the Mysore Rajahs, to visit the Fort and Palace. 


On arrival check in into hotel for overnight stay.
 
Day 03: Mysore - Ooty

Morning drive to Ooty, and on arrival check-in into the hotel.

 

This Queen of hill stations is in the Nilgiri mountain ranges of Tamil Nadu.  At a height of 2,268 meters, Ooty is known for its salubrious climate and scenic beauty.  For residents of the south it is a delightful place to escape to from the oppressive summer heat. The best thing about Ooty is that is a combine the peace and tranquility of a hill station with the comforts of urban life. 

 

Afternoon hill Safari

Visit of the Botanical Garden, Tour Tea Gardens, Ooty Lake, later you are free for Ooty Town Shopping.

Stay overnight at hotel.

 

Day 04: Ooty - Kodaikanal (260 Kms / 06 & ½ Hrs)
Morning drive to Hill Safari Kodaikanal includes visit of Kodaikanal and Palani Temples. On arrival Kodaikanal check-in into hotel.

You are free to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Kodaikanal is charming hill station, stands amidst sylvan beauty on the southern crest of the upper Palani Hills. With its rocks, woods, lovely lake and bracing air, hill-plantain fruits and plums are known for their freshness and taste. Berijam lake, one among the beautiful lakes of South India, spreads over an area of 24 hectares.

 

Stay overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 05: In Kodaikanal

Morning proceed for Hill tour tour of Kodaikanal; visit Cocker's Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls.

Day 06: Kodaikanal - Munnar (160 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Morning embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations enroute, while on drive to Munnar hill station.

 

On arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Munnar, Tea estates provides a panoramic view of the valley and tea plantation. The enchanting high range of lakes and streams, the low-flying clouds and the mist-filled valleys cast a magical spell, which lingers long in the memory. The hill area is breathtakingly beautiful and is easily comparable to the best mountain ranges found anywhere in the world.


Day 07: In Munnar
Proceed for Hill tour Munnar, visit the attractions of Eravikulam National Park.

 

Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, and The Mattupetty Lake and dam, just a short distance from the farm, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market.

Day 08: Munnar - Cochin (150 Km /4 & ½ Hrs)

Drive to Cochin and on arrival check-in at the hotel.

 

One of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian Sea coast, Kochi, earlier known as Cochin, has been a port of all for foreign traders from early times. The city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub .Chinese Fishing Nets at the entrance of Cochin harbor are a fascinating sight.  Bolgatty Island houses Bolgatty Island built by the Dutch in 1774, which is former residence of the British Resident of Kochi. The Portuguese led by Vasco Da Gama arrived in 1502 and later the Dutch and the British.  And descendants of the Jews who arrived in ancient days still live here.


Later take Half day tour Cochin.

 

Visiting Chinese Fishing Nets named after the country of their origin. Jewish Synagogue,  in Mattancherry was built in 1568 and rebuilt in 1664 with Chinese willow-patterned tiles and gold crowns and has ancient scrolls,  Mattancherry Palace,  See St. Francis Church, the first European Church in India, where Vasco Da Gama was buried until his remains were taken back to Portugal, and Fort Cochin. Visit the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1510 and later taken over by the Dutch.
Relax in the afternoon and spend time at leisure.

Day 09: Cochin Departure

As per schecduled you will be transferred to International airport for flight to onward destination.
