Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
After refreshment at hotel proceed for full day city sightseeing of Delhi
Morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb - a red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, Also drive past Parliament House and Presidency House.
Afternoon visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest and best-known mosques, and drive past Red Fort later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Bangalore
In time transfer to domestic airport to board early morning flight for Bangalore and on arrival, met and transfer to hotel.
Bangalore is a cosmopolitan and modern city, one of the fastest growing in India, attracting industry and commerce. The city founded by a Hola King in sixteenth century and later become the fortress tower of the Tipu Sulatan and finally a British cantonment. Over the past decades Banglore has become the India’s fastest growing city and the hub for national IT industry. This is the charm of Banglore along with its pleasant temperate climate , beautiful gardens that are a legacy of the Raj and friendly people.
Later proceed for city sightseeing tour for Bangalore
Sightseeing tour of this city of gardens visiting the Cubbon Park spread over 100 acres, and having a variety of flora. During the drive you will view the Maharaja’s Palace, the Indian Institute of Science, the Public Library, the State Government Museum, and Vidhana Soudha, an imposing structure in granite built in the Dravidian style. See the Bull Temple and visit the Mysore Arts and Craft Center.
Day 03: Bangalore – Puttaparthi (183 Kms/04 Hrs)
Morning proceed for Puttaparthi by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Puttaparthi is a small dusty village attained international as well as national fame because of the glory of Bhagvan Shri Sathya Sai Baba.
Sai Baba Ashram was built by his ardent devotees and is called as "Prashanti Nilayam", which means abode of peace. It is one of the most popular pilgrimages in India and devotees from all over the world come to this sleepy little village to seek the blessings of the great Sai Baba.
Everyday thousands of devotees come to Prashanti Nilayam to seek the blessings of Sai Baba. A specially trained staff sings hymns in the praise of Sai Baba and then he gives a religious discourse. His teachings are based on the principles that make the very foundation of life. These are truth, righteousness, peace, universal love and non-violence.
Day 04: In Sai Baba Ashram
Full day spend at the Ashram
visit Satyabhama Temple, Shiva Temple where Sai Baba was born, Chitravati River, "Kalpavruksha" or the wish fulfilling tamarind tree from which Baba miraculously produced exotic fruits, Sathya Sai Super Specialty hospital.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Puttaparthi – Bangalore
Morning proceed for Bangalore by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Bangalore - Hassan – Halebid
Morning proceed for the Hassan via Belur,
Belur is known for its exquisite temples and Chennakeshava Temples is a fine example. It took 103 years to complete and the façade of the temple is covered with intricate sculptures and frescoes - awe-inspiring in their workmanship. In the temple are hand-lathe turned filigreed pillars.
After visit the Chennakeshava Temple continue drive to Hassan and on arrival check-in into the hotel. After freshening up you will visit to Halebid.
Visit Halebid – Hoysaleswara Temple has a wealth of sculptural detail, the walls covered with gods, goddesses, animals and dancing girls.
Return to Hassan and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 07: Hassan - Mysore (115 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Morning proceed for Mysore and on arrival check-in into hotel.
Mysore was once the capital of the Wodeyar kingdom and is still one of the finest cities of southern India. Small, easygoing, sandalwood country, a crafts-crazy city, friendly people going about their business in a city of gardens, tree lined boulevards, art galleries and a palace.
Afternoon you will take city tour of Mysore.
Visiting Mysore Palace-the Capital of the warrior-kings Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore, Mysore Palace, Nandi Bull and Brindavan Gardens, the ornamental terraced gardens, the swirling fountains, the colorful fairy lights and specially ‘dancing musical fountains’
Later proceed for sightseeing of Srirangapatnam, capital of the warrior - King Hyder Ali & his son Tipu Sultan, has magnificent monuments that are well worth a visit.
Evening we will take visit to Shravanabelagola.
Shravanabelagola is a historical temple town and pilgrimage centre in Karnataka and center for Jaina Art, Architecture, religion and culture for over 2,300 years. The name of this holy center is derived from the pond called ‘bili-gola’ (white pond) between two hills.
Return to Mysore and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 08: Mysore – Bangalore - Chennai
Morning you will proceed for Bangalore airport to connect the flight for Chennai and on arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Tradition and Historic temples town Chennai is endowed with the second longest beach in the world-the Marina Beach. The fourth largest city in the country, Chennai is a mix historic monuments and new high-rise buildings. A lush, green city famed for its temples and silk, music and dance, Chennai gives a sense of serenity and spaciousness, enhanced by one of the world’s largest and most beautiful beaches. Day 09: In Chennai
Morning we take half day city tour of Chennai
Proceed to Fort St. George containing the oldest Anglican Church in India, St. Mary’s Church, one of its benefactors being Elihu Yale, the English merchant after whom the University in Boston is named. The Fort Museum contains a fine collection of relics of that era. Drive along the Marina Beach past the Madras University, the Senate House and the Palace of the Nawabs of the Carnatic, to the San Thome Cathedral where the apostle is buried. Visit the ancients Kapaleeshwar Temple dedicated to Shiva, having a beautifully sculptured “Gopuram” (temple-tower) typical of South Indian temple architecture.

Day 10: Departure Chennai
In time transfer to airport connect flight for onward destination. |
