Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On your arrival at international airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Kathmandu the capital and cultural hub of Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Day 02: In Kathmandu
Morning take half day sightseeing city tour
Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess), its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved. Later visit Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized.
Rest of the evening is free to enjoy exploring local animated market.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Nyalam
An early morning drive to Kodari, the Nepali border post. drive up to Zhang Mu where we clear Chinese immigration. After the formalities we continue our journey through a beautiful gorge to Nyalam crossing the Himalayan range.

Day 04: Nyalam - Lhatse
Morning proceed to high Lalung la pass from where we have a breathtaking view of the Himalayan range and Shisabangma, the highest peak in Tibet.
Later continue drive to Lhatse en route stop to view the peaks of Mt. Everest (Qomolongma in Tibetan) and Cho Oyu and on arrival at Lhatse check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Lhatse is a small town of a few thousand people in Tibet, There is a monastery on the outskirts of the town and an old fort not far distant. Because the roads to Mount Everest and to Mount Kailash divide just West of Lhatse, the town is a popular lunch stop for tour groups heading to those locations. Buddhist festivals are sometimes held at the monastery, drawing inhabitants from the surrounding region
Day 05: Lhatse – Shigatse
Morning proceed to Shigaste and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Later visit Tashilumpo monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama, hence one of the most important monasteries in Tibet. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Shigatse - Gyantse
Morning proceed to Gyantse and on arrival check-in into the hotel.
Gyantse is a small town south west of Lhasa known because of its Fortress, the Dzong, a very special building, the Kimbum, and a monastery, the Pelkor Chode. There is a monastery on the outskirts of the town and an old fort not far distant. Day 07: Gyantse – Lhasa
Morning proceed to Lhasa by surface enroute visit Yamdrok Tso, Lake.
Yamdrok Tso is one of the four holy lakes in Tibet. Then after passing the Kamba-la Pass (4794m), we find ourselves close to the Lhasa Valley.
Later continue drive to Lhasa and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River.
Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama.
It is sacred because of the figures of Songtsen Gampo and his two royal consorts and the figures of Sakyamuni brought from Chang' an and Nepal. One thousand five hundred years ago Lhasa was known as Otang, which means, "plain flowing with milk," because of its rich pasture, good for grazing sheep and cattle.The Rasa Monastery soon became the Otang people's central place of worship, for it enshrined the gilded image of Sakyamuni brought from Chang's an by Princess Wen Cheng. In the course of time, the original name of the place was forgotten, and it became known simply as Rasa, which was gradually changed into Lhasa.

Day 08: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and & Norbulinka.
Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.

Day 09: In Lhasa
Morning you will proceed for full day sightseeing of Jokhang Monastery, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market.
Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa and Sera setting is one of Lhasa's prettiest monasteries was once Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. At last visit to local animated Barkhot Market.

Day 10: Lhasa- Kathmandu (By Flight)
In time transfer to airport to connect return flight for Kathmandu, after reaching at Kathmandu airport board on connecting the fight for onward journey. |
