Day 01: Arrival Delhi
On your arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Day 02: In Delhi
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb; built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Later dinner at the Bukhara Restaurant in the Maurya Sheraton hotel. The robust cuisine of the North-West Frontier.
Enjoy the some of the most popular dishes are Murg Khusk, Purdan Badal Jaam and the melt-in-the-mouth Kakori Kabab.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (203 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Morning proceed to Agra by surface. En-route visit Sikandra
Akbar began building it during his lifetime and his son, the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, completed it. Akbar came to the throne aged 13, following the death of his father Humayun. The serene resting place of the great Mughal ruler Akbar, at Sikandra, is a site that invites you to step back into history and contemplate the life and times of Akbar the Great.
Akbar's tomb at Sikandra has a large arched entrance and green lawns, the entrance is decorated with marble inlay work around the arch, and the inner surface of the dome of the tomb is decorated with images of flowers, geometric designs and Islamic calligraphy.
Later continue drive to Agra and on arrival check-in the hotel.
Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. A pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.
Later visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mogul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
Dinner at the roof top restaurant at Hotel Clarks Shiraz to taste Mughal cuisine.
Some of the traditional dishes are Biryani - a dish of meat and rice, Rogan Josh: hot lamb curry dish cooked in butter and spices, Murga Musalam: pieces of chicken cooked in white cashew and almond sauce. Best in sweet-dishes are the most popular ones: Carrot Halwa and Shahi Tukra.

Day 04: Agra – Jaipur
Morning proceed to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri is 40 Kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.
After visiting Fatehpur Sikri continue drive to Jaipur and on arrival check-in the hotel.
Rest of the day you are free for independent activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
Jaipur has been like that since 1727 when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II had it built. And In 1876 A.D. Jaipur dressed itself in pink to welcome Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria and earned the epitaph ‘PINK CITY', it is also a home of excellent handicrafts especially known for the exquisite gold jewellery enameled or inlaid with precious stones, blue pottery, carving on wood, stone & ivory, block print, tie & dye textiles, hand made paper, miniature painting etc.
Dinner at Durbari Restaurant in the Rajputana Sheraton Hotel, this night brings you a taste of the rich cuisine of the desert of Rajasthan with its very own exclusive ambience.

Day 05: In Jaipur
Morning we take an excursion to the Amber Fort and afternoon visit the city.
Visiting impressive Amber Fort situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. A royal elephant ride to ascend the fort (depending upon the availability else by jeep). Also visit Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors.
Next visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory, & Ram Niwas Gardens. Later stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography. Hawa Mahal was built in 1799, its original intention was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen.
Dinner is served in a village ambience. A taste of the rustic Indian village is brought to you with all its charm.

Day 06: Jaipur - Bombay
In time transfer to the airport to board flight for Bombay and on arrival met and transfer to hotel..
Mumbai is an industrial metropolis as well as the textile and film capital of the country. It was once a cluster of 7 islands. Bombay was ceded to the Portugese by the local ruler in the 16th Century. Later, it was acquired by the English when it was given as a dowry to King Charles II when he married a Portuguese princess. Today cosmopolitan Bombay is a commercial nerve centre apart from being one of India’s busiest ports.
Evening traditional Gujarati Food is served Buffet style while you indulge your taste buds, feast your eyes on the colourful sight of ladies swaying to the Garba dance from typical Gujarat.

Day 07: In Mumbai
Morning we take a half-day excursion to the Elephanta Caves.
Elephanta is a 3 Kms long elongated island, consisting of two hills separated by a valley. See Shiva in his three-headed aspect: as Creator (facing right), Protector (the crowned face at the center), and Destroyer (facing left, with serpents for hair). Also visit to Shiva bringing the Ganges River down to Earth.
Afternoon take the Half day tour Mumbai.
Visit the Juhu Beach, Gateway of India, Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Drive past the “Towers of Silence”, Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens situated on the slope of Malabar Hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach.
Drive through local animated Crawford market.

Day 08: Bombay - Goa
In time transfer to the airport to board flight for Goa and on met and transfer to hotel.

The churches, temples and mosques in Goa set an example of religious harmony and secularism before other states in India. Goa remained under Portuguese command for about 450 years. In 1961, Goa became a union territory along with Daman and Diu in India. In 1987, Goa became the 25th state of India. And now it is immensely popular tourist destination.
Day 09: In Goa
Morning proceed for the half day city tour of Goa
Visiting Se Cathedral, St. Catherine's Church and Church of St. Francis Xavier In the former lies the uncorrupted body of St. Francis Xavier in a silver casket and the latter houses 14 magnificent altars and five bells of which one is the famous golden Bell, and famous Basilica of Bom Jesus and The tour continues with a drive to Dona Paula beach, later drive past Miramar Beach.
Later pick up and Return to your hotel.
A sea food Barbeque dinner is served by the poolside even as the breeze carries the salty smell of the sea to you.

Day 10: In Goa
Full day you are free for independent activities.
Beach in the morning and have hedonism of the sun, sand and sea.
You can also avail traditional Ayurvedic massage packages to help soothe your spirits on your own.

Day 11: Goa - Bombay Departure
Transfer to the airport to board flight for Bombay. Arrive Bombay and on arrival transfer to International airport to board flight for onward destination. |
