Day 01: Arrive Chennai
On arrival at international airport transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Tradition and Historic temples town Chennai is endowed with the second longest beach in the world-the Marina Beach. The fourth largest city in the country, Chennai is a mix historic monuments and new high-rise buildings. A lush, green city famed for its temples and silk, music and dance, Chennai gives a sense of serenity and spaciousness, enhanced by one of the world’s largest and most beautiful beaches. Day 02: In Chennai
Morning proceed for a round of golf at Madras Gymkhana Golf club.
Madras Gymkhana Golf club situated within the 2400 meter oval of the Guindy Race course. Some of the green s are at a gradient of almost 30 degrees and can be very fast. The tough fairways and fast greens require a firm hitter with sure putting skills. Player is allowed two preferred fairway lies on the par fives and one a par four. Variety of trees lines the tight fairways on the front nine. Back nine is wide open. A Peter Thomson design with a liberal use of lateral water hazards. Most of the greens are thick and slow and require good control with firm and sure putts.
Later drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: In Chennai
Morning proceed for a round of golf at Guindy Links Golf Club.
The Guindy Links Golf Club is located in Chennai. The elevated greens are small to medium in size and are not very fast though the ball rolls a lot due to the dry weather-mainly due to a lack of water in the summer months.
Afternoon we take half day city tour of Chennai
Proceed to Fort St. George containing the oldest Anglican Church in India, St. Mary’s Church, one of its benefactors being Elihu Yale, the English merchant after whom the University in Boston is named. The Fort Museum contains a fine collection of relics of that era. Drive along the Marina Beach past the Madras University, the Senate House and the Palace of the Nawabs of the Carnatic, to the San Thome Cathedral where the apostle is buried. Visit the ancients Kapaleeshwar Temple dedicated to Shiva, having a beautifully sculptured “Gopuram” (temple-tower) typical of South Indian temple architecture.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 04: Chennai - Bangalore
Morning proceed for a round of Golf at Cosmopolitan Golf Club.
Cosmopolitan Golf Club is well-elevated greens slope from top to bottom and mainly fast. The fairways are a blend of green and brown but get really brown in summer due to an acute water shortage. The golf course allows preferred lies and the tree lined fairways make the game interesting. There is a drain that runs through the course that actually divides the course into two, which makes the game all the more exciting.
Later transfer to airport to connect flight for Bangalore and on arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 05: In Bangalore
Morning proceed for a round of golf at Eagleton - golf village, Bangalore.
Designed by Pacific Coast Designs Australia , a great design with modern drainage and irrigation systems , well planned facility , the Golf Village is 30 km from Bangalore Mysore Highway Bidal Industrial area. Has 18 holes and par 72.
Later drive back to hotel. After refreshment you will proceed for city tour
Sightseeing tour of this city of gardens visiting the Cubbon Park spread over 100 acres, and having a variety of flora. During the drive you will view the Maharaja’s Palace, the Indian Institute of Science, the Public Library, the State Government Museum, and Vidhana Soudha, an imposing structure in granite built in the Dravidian style. See the Bull Temple and visit the Mysore Arts and Craft Center.
Day 06: In Bangalore
Morning proceed for a round of golf at Bangalore Golf club and drive back to hotel.
The Bangalore Golf Club is 14 km from the airport and is a lovely green course during the season. It is a par 71, 18-hole championship course that is 6,652 yards long. The course has small slow greens that slope from back to front. The greens are well guarded by bunkers that can be tricky on wayward approach shots. The fairways are narrow and have lots of trees. The toughest hole is the 10th one, which is 444 yards and plays into the teeth of the wind. It is a very narrow fairway and penalizes a bad drive (so be careful). The par 3, 13th hole is also a tricky hole -- it is 212 yards long and needs a straight long iron or fairway wood. The green is well guarded by a sand trap on the left, which leaves one in bogey country if your game takes you there.
Day 07: Bangalore - Coimbatore - Ooty
In time transfer to airport connect flight for Coimbatore and on arrival drive to Ooty. Arrive Ooty and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: In Ooty
Morning proceed for a round of golf at Ootacamund Gymkhana Club.
Later drive back to hotel. After refreshments visit the hills of Ooty
Visit Botanical garden was established in 1848, the numerous varieties of ornamental tress and plants are attractions for all tourists visiting Ooty. Lake , one of the major interests for all tourists has pedal boats, rowing boats, and mechanized boats which are available on an hourly basis at the boathouse.
Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 09: In Ooty
Morning proceed for a round of golf at Ootacamund Gymkhana Club.
Ootacamund is located at a mountainous 7,600 feet. A Ross Thompson design that is open year round. Incorporated in 1896 and made into greens in 1929.
Later drive back to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Ooty - Coimbatore – Bangalore
Morning free. Check out at 1200 hours. Transfer to Coimbatore airport to connect flight for Bangalore. Arrive and board on connecting flight for onward journey.
