Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
After freshening up at your hotel, you will proceed for full day sightseeing of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, Visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 02: Delhi - Nagpur
In time transfer to the airport to board the early morning flight to Nagpur and on arrival check-in into your hotel for overnight stay.
Situated on the river Nag, from which the town takes its name. Nagpur is the orange-growing capital of India.
Day 03: Nagpur - Khana National Park
Morning proceed to Khana National Park by surface and on arrival check-in to hotel.
Kanha National Park is one of India's largest national park covering 1945 sq. km. including a core zone of 940 sq. km. The setting for Kipling's Jungle Book, it's a beautiful area of forest and lightly wooded grassland with many rivers and streams and it supports an excellent variety of wildlife. It is also part of Project Tiger, one of India's most important conservation efforts. 1988 the tiger population increased from 43 to over 100 , leopards from 30 to 62, chital from 9000 to over 17,000 sambar from 1058 to 1853 and barasinga from 118 to 547.
Afternoon first jeep safari to national park to view the wield life and bird species.
Day 04: Khana National Park – Bandhavgarh
Morning proceed to Park by second Jeep safari to national park to view the wield life and bird species.
Later drive Bandhavgarh National Park and on arrival check-in into your hotel for overnight stay.
Bandhavgarh has a very high density of tigers within the folds of its jungles. The 105 km² of park area open for tourist was reported to have 22 Tigers, a density of one tiger for every 4.77 km². There is a saying about the Park that goes: “In any other Park, You are lucky if you see a tiger. In Bandhavgarh, you are unlucky if you don't see (at least) one”. With the tiger at the apex of the food chain, it contains 37 species of mammals, more than 250 species of birds, about 70 species of butterflies, a number of reptiles. The forest, tree-covered hills, archaeological remains and a variety of wildlife make the park an enchanting place.

Day 05: In Bandhavgarh
Morning take a first jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National Park. Arrive back to the resort in for refreshment. Evening you will take a second jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National Park. Arrive back to the resort in evening.

Day 06: In Bandhavgarh
Morning take a third jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National Park. Arrive back to the resort in for refreshment.
Evening you will take a fourth jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National Park and arrive back to the resort in evening.

Day 07: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho
Morning you will drive to Khajuraho and arrival at check–in into hotel for overnight stay.
Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture. The name Khajuraho is derived from the Hindi word khajur meaning date palm. The capital of the Chandela Kings, Khajuraho is famous for its magnificent temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthankaras. And temple are influenced by tantrism, in eroticism becomes a theme of philosophical interest and the aim is submlimation of sexual relationship in the sexual act or "Maithun", women being regarded as the incarnation of the divine energy or "Shakti". Itis also possible thatthe Khajuraho were influenced by "Kama Sutra".
Day 08: Khajuraho – Jhansi - Agra
Morning temple sightseeing tour of Khajuraho
Visiting western and eastern group of Temples form Chandela Dynasty, A few of the temples are dedicated to the Jain pantheon and the rest to Hindu deities - to God's Trio, among them the Kandariya Mahadeo, Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta temple, adinath Temples,Vishwanath temple, andvarious other temples.
Later in time transfer to Jhansi railway station to board train for Agra, and on arrival at Agra check–in into hotel for overnight stay.
Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. A pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.

Day 09: Agra – Bharatpur
Morning you will proceed for half day city tour of Agra.
Visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
Later depart for Bharatpur and enroute visit the walled city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri is 40 Kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.
After visiting the Faatehpur Sikri continue drive to Bharatpur, and on arrival check-in into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Bharatpur - Delhi
Morning proceed for Keoladeo National Park.
Enjoy a day inside the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary on a cycle rickshaw.
Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Bharatpur provides marvellous exposure to more than 350 species of birds. Bharatpur is the only wintering ground in India of the endangered Siberian Crane. Despite the droves of tourist , the birds continue to steal the show. The setting is so lovely that it induces a hush even amongst those for whom no picnic is complete without a transistor.
Later drive to Delhi and on arrival check-in into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11: Depart Delhi
In time you will transfer to international airport to connect flight for your onward journey. |
