Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
After refreshment at you hotel enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of the City of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon sightseeing of Old Delhi include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Day 02: Delhi - Paro - Thimphu
Morning transfers to international airport to board on flight for Paro, on arrival met and proceed for Thimpu by surface,
From the flight a close up view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga and other famous peaks become a reality. Met upon arrival-proceed to Thimpu (the Capital of Bhutan).
On arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Thimphu is the Capital to the tiny Himalayan kingdom Bhutan,. Thimphu is a gallery of traditional Bhutanese art, architecture, culture, and tradition and above all still so ethnic and pure. Full of wonderful Hand woven textiles, woodcarving, and tailor made clothing, jewelry. And it is said that Thimphu is the only world capital without traffic lights.
Day 03: In Thimphu
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of the beautiful town Thimpu
Morning visit to the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient Buddhist National Institute for Zorig Chumsum is commonly known as 'the painting school'. And Dechenchholing valley and witness the gold and silver smiths at work.
Afternoon you will take a visit to handicrafts Emporium, to see the exquisite artistry of traditional crafts and textiles.

Day 04: In Thimpu
Morning proceed for the National Liberary,
Visit to the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts the School of Thangkha Painting and the Traditional Medicine Institute. Sightseeing of Dechenchholing valley and witness the gold and silver smiths at work.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Thimphu - Mendegang
After breakfast a 02 hrs drive to Mendegang across the Dochula Pass. Later continue drive to Mendegang and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Mendegang - Gangtey Gompa - Mendegang
Morning visit to the gold domed 17th century Gangtey Gompa, an active school for novice monks. This area is also home to the endangered black necked cranes that migrate from Central Asia to pass the winter here.
Enjoy your lunch in the valley of Gompa.
Stay overnight at Mendegang.
Day 07: Mendegang - Paro
Morning proceed to Paro, Lunch at Thimphu. Enroute visit the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of its kind and now a religious university and on arrival check-in into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: In Paro
Morning your day begins with a visit of the Drukgley Dzong and on a clear day the 24,000 ft. white domed peak of sacred Chomolhari (Mt. of Goddess) looms overhead.
A visit to the National Museum housed in an ancient watch tower, which has a fine collection of Thangkha, textiles, weapons, and artefacts-short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.

Day 09: Paro - Delhi - Home
Airport transfer and flight back to Delhi. After reaching the airport of Delhi take the connecting flight to your onward destination. |
