Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
After refreshment at hotel proceed for full day proceed for city sightseeing of Delhi
Morning visit Qutub Minar, one of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb - a red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, Also drive past Parliament House and Presidency House.
Afternoon visit Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest and best-known mosques, and drive past Red Fort.
Later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Old Delhi
Evening enjoy the Sound and light show in Red fort.

Day 02: Delhi - Ahmedabad
Morning as per scheduled time you will be transferred to the airport to connect flight to Ahmedabad and on arrival check-in into your hotel.
Ahmedabad is city of Ahmed Shah (the medieval ruler of Gujarat) known for its rich past and its association with Mahatma Gandhi the father of Nation. And city offers a unique style of architecture, which is a blend of Hindu and Islamic styles (Indo-Saracenic style of architecture) is today, known as the Manchester of the East, because of its once booming textile industry and being one of the highly industrialized cities in India, also known as India's Textile City. This city was originally built on the banks of the river Sabarmati, but it has expanded since.
Afternoon proceed for city sightseeing tour
Visiting the fascinating poles of old city with beautiful wooden carved houses and one of the most colourful temple of city Swaminarayan temple built in late 19th century and Gandhi Ashram, Adalaj Step Well, Kankaria Lake and Sidi Sayyid Mosque Huteesing Temple , Bhadra Fort & Teen Darwaja, Tombs of Ahmed Shah and his Queens and Jami mosque.

Day 03: Ahmedabad - Rajkot (225 Kms/ 04 &1/2 Hrs)
In the morning half day sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad
Visit the Jama Masjid. Jama Masjid was built in 1423 by Ahmad Shah and described by some as the most beautiful mosque in India. This mosque is believed to have been constructed from the items salvaged from the demolished Hindu and Jain temples. After visiting the mosque we visit the Calico museum of textiles. This museum of textiles has excellent exhibits of antique and modern textiles including rare tapestries, wall hangings, costumes and old weaving machines.
Later drive to Rajkot and on arrival check-in into your hotel.
Rajkot is a very pleasant provincial town. Mahatma Gandhi spent a few years of his life in this town. His father was the Dewan (Chief Minister) of Rajkot, once a small princely State. In the evening arrive in Rajkot.

Day 04: Rajkot - Dwaraka (235 Kms/ 05 Hrs)
In the morning after having breakfast we drive to Dwaraka and on arrival check-in into hotel.
Dwarka is perhaps the most important place on the Saurashtra coast. 'Swarnadwarka'or 'Golden Dwarka'. According to the Krishna legend, it was the adopted home of Lord Krishna after he gave up Mathura. A labyrinth of narrow winding streets cluttered with temples, the town resonates today with the bustle of eager saffron clad pilgrims and the clatter of celebratory drums. Dwarka really comes to life during the major Hindu festivals; the most fervent are shivratri, dedicated to Shiva and Janmashtami, Lord Krishna's birthday.
Rest of the day you will be free for independent activities.

Day 05: Dwaraka - Porbandar (122 Kms / 02 Hrs & ½ Hrs)
In the morning we visit the Dwarkadhish temple.
Dwarkadheesh Temple (Jagat Mandir) an imposing edifice and a superb architectural monument having a plinth area of 1800 square feet, the temple consists of a shrine that is supported by 60 pillars made of granite and sandstone and Rukmini Templ dating to the 12th-13th century, the Rukmini Temple has beautiful carvings, especially on the pillars of the 'Sabha Mandapa'. The temple was built in honour of Rani Rukmani, princess of Vidarbha, who later got married to Lord Krishna.
Next visit to Nageshwar Mandir a houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in an underground chamber.
Later excursion to Beyt Dwarka
Beyt Dwarka the island is separated by a strip of sea about four Kms wide. It takes about half-an hour to cross this channel in a diesel boat operated by the Port Authority. At Bet, there are temples of Vishnu (in the form of 'matsya'), Radha, Lakshmi, Satyabhama, Jambuvanti and Devaki.
Later drive to Porbandar and on arrival check in to the hotel.
Porbandar is a picturesque old sea port situated on the western coast of Gujarat. Porbandar was the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi.
Later in the evening we visit the Kirti Mandir in Porbandar. In this home the Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation was born in 1869. 17 rooms and three storeys are there in this house.

Day 06: Porbandar - Somnath - Junagadh (217 Kms/04 Hrs)
In the morning we drive to visit the Somnath temple.
This temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva and a jyotirlinga. According to the legend, Somnath temple was built originally in gold by Somraj, the moon god. This Somnath temple was rebuilt and destroyed seven times till 1706 when it was raided by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. After that it was finally rebuilt in 1950 with the support of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel.
After visiting the Somnath temple we drive to Junagadh and on arrival check in to the hotel.
Junagadh is situated in the Saurashtra region at the foot of the temple-studded Mount Girnar, on the northern fringes of the Gir forest. The city takes its name from the Fort that enclosed the medieval town.
Afternoon we visit the Junagarh
Visit to the Junagarh Fort, rife with palaces, gardens and mosques: Fort Uparkot and Sakerbagh Garden, take a panoramic view of Girnar Mountain, which has the 12th century Jain temples. Besides this, the Bhavnath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the temple of Amba Mata are also situated on this hill. Later visit the Mahabat Maqbara.

Day 07: Junagadh - Ahmedabad (315 Kms / 06 & ½ Hrs)
In the morning we drive to Ahmedabad and on arrival check-in into hotel.

Day 08: Ahmedabad – Delhi – Onward Journey
In time departure transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi. After reaching the airport of Delhi take the connecting flight to your onward destination. |
