Day 01: Arrive Kolkata
On your arrival at international airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.


The city was established in 1686 when British moved to the small villages of Sutanati, Govindpur, and Kalikata from their trading port of Hooghly. The city got its name from the last of the settlements mentioned above. The city progressed well until 1756 when Siraj-Ud-Daula (Nawab of Bengal) attacked the town and drove away the British. Lord Clive retook Calcutta- Kolkata and until 1911, Calcutta- Kolkata remained the capital of the British government in India. Being the center of power for so long created a unique culture and heritage of the city, totally unlike any other city of India. Calcutta is today a sprawling city of strange contrasts.  Palatial houses, huge monuments, a center of active politics, film and theatre, culture and art, the city offers another picture of herself in its hustle-bustle, over crowdedness, noisy streets and narrow lanes. 


Day 02: In Kolkata

Morning proceed for city sightseeing of Kolkata


Visit Indian Museum - Established long back in 1814 in the Asiatic Society Building was founded by Dr. Nathaniel Wallich, a botanist from Denmark. It is one of the earliest museums established in the world and considered the largest and best museum in the country. In 1875, it was shifted to the new building in Italian architectural style designed by Walter B Grawille, Kali Ghat - Kalighat is located in the city of Calcutta on the banks of the river Hooghly (Bhagirathi). The Kalighat temple in its present form iis only about 200 years old, although it has been referred to in Mansar Bhasan composed in the 15th century, and in Kavi Kankan Chandi of the 17th century. St.Paul Church & Victoria memorial - Victoria Memorial has been built in a sprawling 26 hectares of land and a visit to Victoria Memorial is the best education one can possibly have of the British East India Company's rule in India. Here you will come face to face with miniature paintings and images of Queen Mary, King George V and Queen Victoria. What is more, you will be mesmerized by the three thousand five hundred articles associated with the everlasting memory of Queen Victoria.

Day 03: Kolkatta - Hyderabad
In time you will be transferred to airport to board flight for Hyderabad and on arrival transfer to hotel.

A sightseeing tour of Hyderabad will follow, where you will visit Golconda Fort, Charminar, Botanical Gardens and Mecca Masjid. By late evening, you will come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 04: Excursion to Nagarjunkonda
Early in the morning, you will proceed for a full day excursion tour of Nagarjunkonda. There, you will be visiting Buddhist temple remains as well as a museum.

Late in the evening, you will come back to the Hyderabad hotel and stay for the night.

 

Day 05: Hyderabad - Warangal
After having breakfast, you will drive down to the Warangal city. After reaching there, you will check in the hotel and freshen up a bit. Thereafter, you will spend the day visiting the numerous tourist attractions in the city, like Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillared Temple, Ramappa Temple and Pakhal Lake. The night stay will be at the hotel.

 

Day 06: Warangal - Vijayawada
After having breakfast in the morning, you will move towards Vijayawada. The first thing on arrival will be checking into the hotel. Thereafter, you will rest for a while and then, go for an evening just stroll around the city. You will come back to the hotel by late evening and stay overnight.

 

Day 07: Vijayawada - Amravati - Vijayawada
In the morning, you will continue with the sightseeing tour of Vijayawada. Your itinerary will include a visit to the Durga Temple, Akana and Madana Caves and Malleswaraswami Temple. By afternoon, you will leave for an excursion to Amravati and visit ruins of Buddhist Stupas and Temples.

By late evening, you will return to the Vijayawada hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 08: Vijayawada - Visakhapatnam
The sixth day will see you leaving for Visakhapatnam by road. After reaching there, you will reach check into the hotel and rest for a while. Following soon after will be a short trip to the Ramakrishna Beach.

You will come back to the hotel by evening and retire for the night.

 

Day 09: In Visakhapatnam
The entire day, you will be busy in visiting the numerous tourist attractions in Visakhapatnam. The itinerary will cover places like Visakha Temple, Rishikonda Beach and Indira Gandhi Zoological Park. Thereafter, you will proceed towards Arraku Valley and Borra caves, situated near the city. You will be back at the hotel by late evening, when you will have dinner and then rest for the night.

 

Day 10: Visakhapatnam - Hyderabad
In the morning, you would be taken to the Hyderabad airport, from where you will catch a flight to your destination.
