Motorbike Tour in India, Nepal & Bhutan

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel.

Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend.  It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone.  From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.

After freshening up at your hotel, you will proceed for full day sightseeing of New Delhi & Old Delhi.


Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi,  Visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal.  Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.


Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi, include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.

Stay overnight at hotel.

 

Day 02: Delhi - Corbett National Park (280 Kms/06 Hrs)
Morning proceed to Corbett national park by surface and on arrival check-in into the  resorts.

 

Hailey National Park has changed to Ramganga National Park and finally Jim Corbett National Park in the honor of legendary hunter-turned- conservationist in 1955-56 it, best known for hunting man-eating tigers and leopards in the Kumaon and lower Garhwal area. Wild animal found in the Corbett National Park include the tiger, elephant, chital, sambar, nilgai, gharial, King Cobra, muntjac, wild boar, hedgehog, common musk shrew, flying fox, Indian Pangolin, and nearly 600 species of birds. 

 

Afternoon spend warming up program for Motor biking tour.

Later return to resort for overnight stay.
                                                                                               
Day 03: In Corbett National Park
Early Morning jeep Safari to National Park


This Jeep safari will take you to the core area to catch some best wildlife sights and Tigers in Jim Corbet Park.

Afternoon return to resort for freshening-up


Late afternoon take Elephant safari is the best option for wildlife viewing in the Corbet National Park. Return to the to tourist complex in the evening. Watch film shows on wildlife.

Stay overnight at your resort.

Day 04: Corbett National Park - Suklaphanta
Your Motorbiking tour will start from today. Early Morning you will drive to Mahendra Nagar border between India and Nepal, later proceed for Suklaphanta and on arrival check-in onto the hotel.

Rest of the day you will be at Suklaphanta wild life reserve, including Bird watching, visit Ranital, Jungle walk.
Stay overnight at hotel.

 

Day 05: Suklaphanta – Bardia
Morning you will proceed to the Royal Bardia National Park and on arrival check into your resort/lodge.

 

The Royal Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed wild area of the Terai region of the Nepal Himalayas. The park situated in Nepal’s Western Terai was established to protect representative ecosystems and conserve tiger and its prey species. The park is habitat of various mammals and bird species with over 300 resident and migratory species.

Afternoon embark on a game viewing safari into the Park. Stay overnight at resort/lodge.

In the evening enjoy the Tharu Cultural Prpgramme. Stay overnight at resort/lodge.

 

Day 06: In Bardia National Park
Morning Jeep safari to National park to see the wild animals like tiger, one horned rhino, wild Elephants, Deers and many more.

Return to hotel for freshing –up in afternoon

Late afternoon safari to National Park to view the wild life and bird species.
Stay overnight at resort.

Day 07: Bardia - Tansen (350 Kms / 08 Hrs)
Morning you will drive towards the small hill station of Tansen and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 08: Tansen -Pokhara (140 Kms / 05 Hrs)
Continue bike journey over the Siddharta Highway to Pokhara and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.


Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. Its peaceful lakeside location and proximity to the Annapurna mountain range, mean it is an ideal place for recovering from (or gearing up for) for execution. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald lakes, and of course, the world famous views of the Himalaya. 

Day 09: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu and on arrival you will check into your hotel.


Rest of the day is free for last minute shopping and perhaps that last minute bash at winning the jackpot in the casino on your own. 

Kathmandu the capital and cultural hub of Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.  


Day 10: In Kathmandu
 Full day you will be free for independent activities.


Optional: Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess), its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved. Later visit Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal.  A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized.


Rest of the day you will be free to enjoy exploring local animated market.
Stay overnight at hotel.


Day 11: Kathmandu – Barabise (100 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Morning proceed toward the Tibet Highway to Barabise and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.  


Day 12: Barabise - Charikote
Morning proceed toward Barabise to Charikote and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 13: Charikote – Daman (150 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Morning proceed for Daman by motorbike and on arrival check-in into the tent Camp. Stay overnight in Camp.


Day 14: Daman – Janakpur (250 Kms / 06 Hrs)
Morning proceed for Janakpur by motorbike and on arrival check-in into the hotel. Stay overnight in hotel.


Day 15: Janakpur – Darjeeling (220 Kms / 05 Hrs)
Morning you will drive along across Kosi River and on arrival at Darjeeling check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.


The cool climate of Darjeeling provides a delightfully different experience from most other parts of India. The town nestled in the lap of the mighty Kanchenjunga and it is a mixture of old colonial charm, bustling bazaars and the lush tea gardens, to the beautiful natural scenic views and a wide variety of activities, lush tea gardens, terraced farms and a slower pace of life.

 

Day 16: In Darjeeling
Full day you will be free for independent activities.


Optional: Early morning you will drive to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over the fabulous views of the famous Mt. Kanchendzonga (28,208 ft) (subject to clear weather conditions). On way back to the hotel visit Ghoom Monastery a Tibetan Buddhist monastery.
Afternoon, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling.

 

Enjoy a tour of the various tea estates and visit the local monasteries and the flower nurseries.  
Stay overnight at hotel. 

 

Day 17: Darjeeling - Gangtok (95 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Morning drive to Gangtok and on arrival check-in into hotel,

 

Gangtok means ‘Hilltop’, one, which was made flat in 1716 to build the Gangtok Monastery.  The town is situated in the lower Himalayas & was a small hamlet until the construction of the Enchey Monastery in 1840 made it a pilgrimage center. It became a major stopover between Tibet & British India at the end of the 19th century.  It is also a centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture & learning with numerous monasteries & religious educational.

 

Optional: Afternoon visit to Research Institute of Tibetology,

Research Institute of Tibetology-a library with a large collection of documents and rare books on Buddhism and an attached museum with a rare collection of antiques, coins and Tibetan Paintings,

Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Gangtok -
Phuntsholing
Later in the day ride to Phuentsholing through Tea estates. Situated directly at the base of the Himalayan foothills, Phuentsholing is a fascinating mixture of Indian and Bhutanese, a perfect example of mingling of people and their culture.

On arrival at border town check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 19:  Phuntsholing - Thimphu (179 Kms/ 04 Hrs)
Morning proceed to Thimphu by surface, on arrival check-in into hotel.

Optional: Afternoon day you will take visit to Thimpu
Morning visit to the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient Buddhist National Institute for Zorig Chumsum:- It is commonly known as 'the painting school'. And Dechenchholing valley and witness the gold and silver smiths at work.

 

Afternoon you will take a visit to handicrafts Emporium, to see the exquisite artistry of traditional crafts and textiles.

Day 20: Thimpu - Wangdiphodrang – Punakha (77 Kms /03& ½ Hrs)
Morning you will drive to Punakha En route stop at Wangdipodrang

 

Punakha had once served as the winter capital of Bhutan. A three-hour winding mountain drive from Thimphu will land you in Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. The route climbs past the forestry research station at Yusupang, then through apple orchards and forests of blue pine. A temperate climate and natural drainage from the phochu(male) and Mochu (female) rivers, the fertile punakha valley produces abundant crops and fertile punakha valley produces abundant crops and fruit. Viewing the scenery and then descend till you reach the Punakha Dzong located between Mochu and Phochu (Male 8 Female) rivers. The Dzong and the two rivers add exclusively to the scenic beauty of Punakha valley.

Later drive to Wangdiphodrang (stop for visit) and further to Punakha and on arrival check-in into the hotel.

 

Later visit Punakha Dzong:- one of the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan and also for having been built by the first Shabdrung in 1637.

Stay overnight at your hotel.

 

Day 21:  Punakha – Paro (143 Kms / 05 Hrs)
Morning proceed to Paro by surface, on arrival check-in into hotel. Today you biking tour end.

Evening you will be free to visit local animated market.

Stay overnight at your hotel.

 

Day 22: Paro – Delhi Depart
Airport transfer and flight back to Delhi.
After reaching the airport of Delhi take the connecting flight to your onward destination.
