Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
On your early morning arrival at international airport, transfer to your hotel.
Kathmandu the capital and cultural hub of Nepal Kingdom, surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful. There are complex examples of Nepal’s art and architecture all round.
Morning proceed to sightseeing of the city
Visiting temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, temple of the living and Also visit Durbar Square, which is residence of Kumari, the Living Goddess (Virgin Goddess), its wooden balconies and windows are profusely carved. Later visit Hanuman Dhoka, the historic palace of the ancient kings of Nepal. A complex of many temples and monuments, guarded by a huge statue of the Monkey God, It is here that the kings of Nepal are crowned, and their coronations solemnized.
Rest of the day you will be free to enjoy exploring local animated market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu - Chisapani
Morning depart Kathmandu for Sundarijal northern edge of the Kathmandu valley about 1 hour by surface and start to hike up to Mulkharka.
The trail continues gently climb through the forests ridges than it drops down to Chisopani situated on the ridge from where you can see countless snow peaks.
Arrive Chisapani and stay overnight in tent.
Day 03: Chisapani - Kutumsang
Morning descend trek to Pati Bhanjyang afterwards start climb up to Chipling (2170m.) where we can stop to take a rest.
Later continue trek to Kutumsang through delightful, classic hill village with a nice street, some shops where there are good mountains views.
Arrive Kutumsang and overnight stay in tents.
Day 04: Kutumsang – Tharepati (05 & ½ Hrs Trek)
Today first part of the trail climbs on a step, eroded trail and rhododendron forest without settlements but few shepherd’s huts.
In the route enjoy views of Langtang and Gosaikunda Peaks. The trail now descends to Magen Goth where we will stop of lunch than the trail makes some ups and downs passing through forests to reaches Tharepati (3490m).
Stay overnight in tents.
Day 05: Tharepati - Melamchi Goun (03 Hrs Trek)
Morning we will start to Melamchi Goun and on arrival take rest in tents.
Rest of the day we can just stroll around the village. Melamchi gaun is very nice village. It has glossy gompa with a line of prayer flags at the front and brightly painted walls and statues.
Stay overnight in camp.
Day 06: Melamchi Goun – Gangjwal (05 Hrs Trek)
From Melamchi gaun, the trail continues to descend to the Malemchi Khola.
After crossing its suspension bridge at 1890m the trail begins the ascent towards Tarke Gyang, which is the largest village in Helambu region.
Later continue trek on flat trail to attractive village of Gangjwal. Arrive and take rest in tents.
Stay overnight in tents.
Day 07: Gangjwal - Kakani
Today trekking is quite easy. In morning continues at around the same altitude along the side of the ridge, crossing a number of streams in the heart of Helambu region.
After reaching the Sermathang village tke rest ofr refreshments then the trail follows the ridges passing shorten and drop to the tiny pretty village of Kakani situated on the ridge.
Stay overnight in tents.
Day 08: Kakani - Melamchi- Kathmandu
Morning proceed toward Melamchi through picturesque small villages and on arrival drive Kathmandu via Kodari road.
Arrive Kathmandu and check-in into the hotel for overnight stay
Day 09: Depart Kathmandu
In time departure transfer to international airport to board flight for onward Journey. |
